My car began making a sound I had never heard before, the engine light came on and long story short, I wound up broke down on the side of the road. I called the first towing company that came up on my search and it was A1 towing. I explained my problem and they were there faster than I thought they'd be. The gentleman that came to assist was named Wes and he could not have been more professional or kind. Instead of just towing my car, he went through every probable cause to see if he could get it running. This is the first time I had ever seen a business put the customer over making a buck! When he couldn't find the problem he hooked up my car then actually drove me home! I lived out of his way and yet he never charged me for gas. He suggested a mechanic and towed my car there. His kindness and professionalism at 2 in the morning was something that will stay with me. I will recommend A1 towing to anyone that needs a towing service. Absolutely the best!

Upon inspection, the new mechanic was absolutely appalled by the amount of rust damage. Three boys auto tried to spray paint and cover up all this damage... The price tag on the check was a little over eight grand. The mechanic I took the truck to advised us not to purchase the truck and that the truck would definitely break down sooner than later. What a complete trash company trying to screw people over to make a sale. I'm going to educate everybody in Southern Oregon about this trash auto company. If you find yourself dealing with the scam artist, please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion, These guys are crooks and should not be trusted.

Things were going smooth until we turned onto a freeway entrance and the axel of our car snapped and we were unable to move. First of all, the people of canyonville are amazing. Long story short, towing company recommended Bill's since they were the only ones near and open (it was around 6pm) We get to Bill's and they're so friendly. Quoted us an extremely affordable price and told us it'd be done by noon the next morning. Perfect! Doesn't stop there; since we are from out of town and have our cat with us, they personally drive us in one of their trucks to a near motel that accepts pets. We get in for the night, next morning we walk back to Bill's and the car is ready to go and it's 10am! All I can say is if I wanted my car to break down, this was the most ideal and smoothest situation ever and that is a huge thanks to Bill and his staff and also the people of canyonville. Avoid Grants Pass Towing and Auto Repair…read more Had to set up a tow for the following day, as they were busy due to a storm. We asked them to call 15 min prior to the tow to confirm they were coming so we could be at the vehicle for the driver, they said they would. It got close to tow time, no word from GP Towing- so we called them. The lady who answered had no idea what the drivers were doing. She "thought" they were coming to do our tow but had no idea, and said she'd call us back. She never did. Our roadside assistance called to confirm we received service, when we said no, they called GP Towing, who lied and said they called us but we didn't answer. Roadside assistance remarked that the lady was short and rude with him. We still needed a tow so he called back up to set another one up, the lady then said she left us a message and she wouldn't set up a tow. She didn't call back, and she most definitely didn't leave a message! I'm glad some people have had good experiences with this place, and maybe the drivers are great. I wouldn't know since they never showed up. But, the dispatch/phone lady is a liar, and rude. There are lots of other towing operations in town- use them first!

When I went to retrieve the vehicle, he threatened to call the police and charge me more for having an attitude. I told him he was the one that set the tone for this transaction and reminded him that it's not illegal to have an attitude but it is illegal to withhold my property or charge me more than what was noted on OSP's . Once I got access to the vehicle, I Observed it was missing a back wing window and now have this to contend with. Oh, and the paperwork, yep you guessed it...the fees were incorrect and incomplete.
