Right before my cleaning appointment I'd received a letter saying Dr.Z wasn't going to be in my network after Feb 28th, 2024. During my visit I was assured Dr. Z was in negotiations and they would do everything they could to make sure I could still come to her office. I'm not one to change a good thing and will drive further for the right dentist. Dr. Z is just that! Her office staff is amazing and personable, her dental assistants are great and explain everything, and Dr. Z is transparent, thorough, and efficient. I have been going to Dr. Z at All Smiles Dentistry for at least 10 years now and spent tens of thousands of dollars on root canals, fillings, crowns, cleanings, and mouth guards. I hate to write a bad review because the staff have always been amazing, and the hygienist is great as well. However, I have now had at least 4 crowns that have completely broken within 5 years (some only lasted 1-2 years). The remaining crowns that she has done do not fit well, with a small gap between my gums and the bottom of the crown that are going to have to be replaced down the line as well. She did replace a couple of them for relatively low cost, but is now refusing to replace the other two that are broken, one of which was done only about a year ago. I wear a mouth guard every night, and one of the crowns that broke has a gold crown above it which is softer than the zirconium crown that broke, so it clearly was not from grinding. I have had two specialists (one that was referred to me from her) and one regular dentist tell me that the crowns do not fit well and were not well done which is why I am having these issues. I am now having to pursue going to claims court so I don't have to pay thousands of dollars to get these crowns redone by a different dentist because she did a poor job. Oh, she also allowed her brand new assistant to do the impression for my last crown she redid, which is one of the ones that broke. Don't let the nice office and staff fool you if you want lasting dental work. read more

Overall, I had an OK experience here. The ladies at the front desk were super nice. My hygienist was great - effective yet gentle. She removed some stains from my teeth that I have been hating - so that was splendid! I even enjoyed Dr. Zahiri until she came up with my plan for care. I came from a small town in Ohio where my dentist was a family friend and he took care of my mouth as if it were his own. His main goals were to keep my existing teeth healthy so that they would last me a lifetime. It is frustrating since moving to Arizona to only find doctors who want to prescribe $$ earning treatments before they are necessary. Before moving to the West valley I FINALLY found a dentist in Gilbert that was SO conservative on their treatments plans and I just LOVED him. My last dental check up with him, I was told my teeth were all looking great. That there was one spot that they wanted to keep an eye on and two areas where there was a gap between my filling and tooth where decay COULD eventually occur. Dr. Zahiri came back to me wanting to put porcelain inlays in both of those areas - where there was currently no decay.. and she wanted to cap one of my back teeth which was also showing no signs of decay. I worked for a dentist office for years, so I KIND OF know what I'm looking at in a dental x-ray. I asked to see my x-rays and she could not show me any reason for this work. She said she saw it "clinically".. whatever that means. She blamed my concern on my defensiveness from past experiences and tried to console me while putting me through the exact same experience. It sucks because there was one cavity I probably really do need filled and do not want to return to this office.. I will be looking for a new dentist. Peace! read more

Been dealing with them for a few years had been a while since I'd gone there decided to give them another go. Big mistake. My poor son need all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, mind you it's been three months since they "contacted" my Insurance. Lies. I called my insurance to see what the holdup was and was told that the doctors did not clarify specifically what needed to be done to my sons teeth. I called the dentist back and they said it was in the insurance so we're going back-and-forth in the end they never followed up, i called them multiple times and promised to call me back, never got a response. Went in person and same thing. All the front desk workers at the front do nothing but talk and gossip. Till this day I NEVER got a call back from them. Only a good place to go if you have no issues. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED A CROWN, I have had 2 fail which has cost me pain and money.

Truth be told, I am 28 years old and I had never made a visit to the dentist, mostly because I was really scared .. lol Because I couldn't stand the pain any longer I had from needing a root canal I visited over 3 places, finally I came here and THE ENTIRE STAFF was super friendly and extremely helpful! I was originally had plan going in to take care of this issue and nothing else, but after my first experience I wanted to really take better care of my smile. I have been here multiple times and I feel so welcome every time I go in, I guess you can say we are like family now haha not but seriously they make my visits go very smooth and care about me at a personal level which to me its key in my decision to keep on coming back and take care of everything I have to do! Now that you have read my review, call them set up an appointment and go in and get to know your future favorite people! I also want to take the time to really thank everyone in there, you guys are really amazing, you work with so many people and yet you still take the time to get to know all of us, don't ever change this practice I'm sure its what's made this place be the place that it is right now and will continue to be for a long long time. But even since coming here it's really changed my mind on everything. They're super nice too! and not too mention all of the girls there are beautiful so that's a plus lol. I read the reviews of this place, utter nonsense! Do your research, people! I am an actor/model, but have poor dental genetics, despite brushing twice daily and flossing almost every day. I also love soda & ice cream, so I easily get cavities. I had a root canal/post & crown done on a molar, by a dentist when I was 22(40 now). After ~16 years of service, the crown finally gave up, resulting in a post sticking out of my jaw, poking my tongue. I went to Zahiri, simply to have the post removed. Not only did she refuse to remove the post, she also recommended grinding down/capping ALL of my teeth! Of course this would have cost me upwards of $25,000, which, as another ACTUAL reviewer pointed out, they were all too happy to book. Naturally the insurance company said this was cosmetic, and wouldn't cover any part of it. Of course it was, my visible teeth are all straight and look fine. When I declined the offer to go for something which costs 5-figures, the dentist went to work devising a plan to expend the remainder of my annual dental allowance. She came up with a laundry list of things of which required "IMMEDIATE" repair, the post was the only thing bothering me, and anything else couldn't be seen anyway. I got 2 fillings and 2 root canals(1 w/post & crown). I was told by the financial person(dumbest girl EVER..perfect); insurance would cover a certain amount, and the remainder would be my responsibility. She quoted me a price, and gave me my balance, ~$750, which I paid in full, that day. I later got another bill. The work was done over a few visits. Zahiri burned my lip with an instrument, HORRIBLY! I'm not talking about a tiny boo-boo, I looked like I had herpes for a while, so thanks for that! I still have the scar! I was numb from the lidocaine, couldn't feel it, but smelled it, asked about it, and was ignored. They also make you sign a legal waiver, stating you can't sue them for anything which may go awry, that's not alarming! Anyway, upon the second visit, the dentist is looking at my gums, and says, "you really need to take better care of your teeth", I said, "I brush and floss regularly". She said, "Nooo, I don't think so". What an idiot! You did the fillings on those teeth, along the gum line, the week before, that's why the gums were raw, KNOB! But I couldn't tell her that because she had stuff in my mouth, but more so because she's one of those people that CAN'T be wrong. The entire time I sat in the chair, looking at a series of constantly cycling pictures on a computer monitor. Pictures of the dentist and her workers in tropical locations, all gussied-up, posing like models, and images of entire mouth jobs, (others went for it, I didn't bite, Bwahaha). Of course Zahiri is wearing something different in the pics, how very secure. Hmm, I wonder how you got the money to do all that? Oh yeah, recommending work people don't need, draining their insurance allotments, misquoting client's ACTUAL balance and % of insurance coverage, then attacking their credit for the remainder. After calling clients for months, badgering them for money they didn't know they needed to pay, the debt is finally sold to a third-party collection agency! I digress. It's been ~1.5 years since I had this carnage done. You may be asking yourself, "Self, why is he writing the review now?". I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED!! You see, about 3 months ago I was chewing on a piece of steak and the crown popped off....WITH THE POST STILL IN IT!! It stabbed my gums and tongue. Not only that, the other work she did is also RUBBISH, and irritates me daily!! Zahiri said I needed an implant, and she would need to take another X-Ray, to determine IF I needed a bone graft. She also said two other teeth NEEDED root canals. Upon my next visit, her financial person began billing me for a bone graft, I said, "WHOA, hold up there, Moonbeam, what happened to, IF you need a bone graft?"! The girl says, "you need a bone graft to have an implant". I told her Zahiri said it might not be necessary, Moonbeam disagreed. Now I'm no rocket scientist, but my ESPN told me I may be dealing with a bunch of crooks with perfect(likely fake and super expensive)teeth!! I researched the procedure; it seems a bone graft is only necessary if there is insufficient bone mass. Well, there was a tooth there an hour ago, which didn't want to come out, there's likely plenty of bone mass, yet without an x-ray, Moonbeam KNOWS I need a bone graft, Rrriiight. I said, "Negative, I'm moving, I'll just take care of it later". I found a dentist in Washington, he took his own X-rays and SHIZZAM, I only needed two fillings and NO bone graft!! He is MUCH better skilled, educated, and professional. I know Zahiri will likely respond with some explanation absolving her of crappy-person-ness; the form you signed said this, I never said that, I never did this, etc.. You are obviously an egomaniac, get over yourself! The short brunette at the end of the row(in the pic)was polite and professional. read more

Great customer service! When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was friendly and understanding. Upon my visit, I was provided with an iPad to enter my new patient info. Everyone took their time with me. In my nearly 2 hour visit I was able to get x-rays done, a check up, problem area identified, and a cleaning done. I appreciated that the dentist gave me options and never pressured me or made me feel like I have the worst teeth ever, as has been the case with other dentists. They are a great team here. It seems like they are very close and work well with each other. They have tv screens playing a slideshow of the team and all the trips and events that they have attended outside of work, which made me feel at ease. They have a strong sense of community and everyone seems to know each other. The only thing I would change would be the communication between the back and the front desk. Some things were not communicated, but when I pointed them out, things were resolved quickly and with a great attitude. read more

I used to live in Gilbert and went to a dentist there I really liked. Then I moved to Phoenix. For a few years I made the drive to Gilbert when I needed to see the dentist. I got tired of making that drive and the traffic and took a chance at a new office. I found All Smiles and Dr. Zahiri and the reviews were really good. I made an appointment and went to the office. It's the first time I've ever been to medical office where literally every staff member seemed genuinely happy to be working. They seemed happy to have me there. The Doctor was every bit as nice, and she went out of her way to talk to me about the implant I previously had done at another office, even though I was only there for a routine cleaning and checkup.
