Even though I've paid for December and a joining fee I can't use the gym!! Asked to speak to a supervisor and he said he is the supervisor, asked for a manager and he said he can't transfer the calls - so now got to wait for a manager to call back - and wanted to go to the gym this morning while it isn't too busy. Shocked at how bad the customer service is.

I was visiting with a friend in Nottingham, and after a night out, we took our sorry butts off to David Lloyd's. I'd never imagined it would be as amazing as it is. We started off with a delicious Paleo friendly meal in their cafe. And this was my favourite part. I have quite a few food allergies and Paleo eating is my life. The cafe here caters for paleo eaters, right down to the side of sweet potato fries. The low carb burger is amazing, I highly recommend that. Next off to the gym, for a grueling workout. Well not quite grueling, more stretching and foam rolling. But what i could see is a ton of cardio machines, and even more important a heap of weights. Plenty of squat racks and benches to go around. After our foam rolling, we went to the swimming pool, sauna, and heated spa. This is a great area for the whole family, plenty of space to watch the kids in the pool whilst you relax in the spa. Leaving David Lloyd's, i felt soo relaxed and no longer seedy from the night before. It was like leaving a day spa. I wish we had one of these near where i lived.

Well equipped gym, free weights area, weight machines, floor spaces, treadmills, cross-trainers etc. etc. Plus plenty of exercise classes from morning 'til evening 7 days a week. The swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms are a welcome bonus. Add to this the specific health trained staff to advise on any aspect of training and physiotherapist advice then you're in the right place whatever your age or needs. There's even a cafe and relaxation area to meet or relax after your work out. And finally - plenty of free to the front of the building!

The club room is pricey as is the membership, but if you use the gym regularly it actually works out good value for money. Which by the way makes it a bit dodgy trying to get there without being hit by some idiot trying to get a bud light and an ass grab. Anyway I went with a friend for a one day free trial to see what this gym was all about, or what it wasn't. The basic price, if you dint sign up for a 6-12 month membership, is about 65 GBP per month which is outrageous as they don't provide towels,the male staff are orangutans, and you have to bring your own lock. Is this third grade cause I feel like I left my lunch at home.
