But behind the polished exterior is a culture that prioritizes money, image, and legacy families--often at the expense of integrity, fairness, and emotional safety. Favoritism is a constant. If your last name isn't influential or you're not part of the school's inner circle of wealth or church politics, your child may feel invisible--or worse, unfairly targeted. Rules are applied selectively. Concerns are deflected or ignored. And decisions seem to be made based more on who you are, not what's right. Socially, the school has a well-known issue with cliques--not just among students, but among parents. Gossip and exclusion are normalized. The administration often avoids addressing toxic behavior, choosing to protect the school's reputation over the well-being of those affected. "Christian values" are talked about far more than they are lived out. read more
