Not sure what was happening at school, especially on a Saturday, but there were a ton of kids in the parking lot washing cars. Surmising it was some sort of fundraiser, I quickly turned into Paschal and got in line. Apparantly a lot of others needed there car washed as well. The fee was $5. Since it was for a "good cause", I paid $10. (Never did find out what they were raising money toward.) As bad as my vehicle needed washing, anything would have been an improvement. Surprisingly, the kids did a great job and kept the line moving quickly in spite of how many people were waiting. Interestingly enough, the last time I had my car washed was about a year ago when the school was having a car wash. Ha ha! Always support your local school and kids. read more

Competitive academics, tons of extra curricular activities/clubs, funded by many alumni mainly TCU. 5A school who's strict on dress code unless you're white. No longer allow you to bring presents for your students, rude light skinned woman at the front counter. Apparently she's been rude to my mother too, all semester long, so my mother goes strait for the Hispanic lady. read more

I'm a five-year student at Paschal and out of my four there, this place is close to being as bad as my homeschool Southwest. I can vouch for 2 of the reviews Max and Kennedy because I was meant to apart of their graduating class, and at first, it seems decent but after a few months into your freshman year, it goes downhill fast. They did replace the security guard and increase the number of them, all of them are nice and respectful. Teen pregnancy is high, not as high as other, but still pretty high. They did have a fashion program during my first 3 years and the teachers nearby were amazing, unfortunately, the good teachers that truly care about the students get burned out after a while and do quit, leaving the bad ones who only want a longer vacation. Probably the best teachers there are Mr. Herblin (I think that is his name) he is an Art 1 and Ceramics teacher, Coach Chatum who is a P.E. teacher and Football coach (we put a good emphasis on football even though we are not good due to lack of team unity) he will work with you, talk with you, and have an educated discussion with you, Mrs. Eheroth is a nice teacher once you establish a relationship with her (she is so sweet and caring to everyone she is almost like a 2nd mother, Ms. Frank is an amazing teacher, she is stern, but just because she wants the best from you. Dress code is extremely lax, no one cares really, a girl in my U.S. Government wouldn't even wear a bra during winter. Very few good clubs, Mr. Herblin has an anime club, but if you want to stick to the shadows and not get in trouble I suggest you go to the library where they sell coffee, play movies (sometimes you can have a say in which ones if others don't care or there are very few students in the library) , and if you are overdue on books they will still let you check out books (Mrs. Stafford really is the nicest one, you can talk about makeup, relationships, school (she used to be an English teacher), Marvel, DC, some fandoms, and will even help you to the best of her ability if you have a problem. Also Mr. Wright is stern but when I tried to kill myself due to out of school bullying and harassment he was there for me as long as when I got a concussion. Overall the librarians are nice, some teachers are good, but you'll learn how to navigate that, not a good variety of clubs to choose from, doesn't teach you all you need in life (kinda thinking of creating a club for that, but its hard to create one because the kids don't even care about themselves let alone the teachers and fellow students, and majority of students are ghetto and know they are and wear as if it is a badge of honour (Also, this school like most American school teaches you how to spell the American way, not like the rest of the world, so it might be good to learn cursive, how to spell English the proper way, and Celsius conversions, it'll be hard but worth it. read more

This school is not only ghetto. The teachers are absolutely a joke. Teachers like to fight the kids and are very unfair when it comes to grades on report card. I'm for sure sending my kids to private school read more

I am a senior here and if I could give this place 0 starts, I would. From a parents perspective this place looks decent. From a kids perspective this place is hell. The school in general is dirty, smelly, and outdated. The kids are rude and loud. The teachers are unfair except for Mr. Boron. He is the only reason I give this place 1 star. read more
