We had reached out to Landscaping By Garcia for an estimate to provide winter cleanup of our yard and beds, and prune our trees and shrubs. They were quick to respond to our inquiry, provided a comparable quote to what we had paid the in past, and promptly scheduled a time to complete the work. This morning we were pulling out of our driveway when they were beginning the work, and we returned home six hours later to a transformed yard - far beyond our expectations. Our shrubs are beautifully shaped, not just pruned. The trees are uniformly pruned and ready for the arrival of spring. Every leaf and stray seedling in the river rock was removed (some were actually becoming small trees), and the river rock is once again clear of debris. The thick layer of bamboo and maple leaves that covered the fence line and corners of the house were cleared away. The details of their effort and pride that they take is very apparent and appreciated. Again, far beyond our expectations.

He did not show up on the estimated start date & we gave him 2 weeks & waited for him to contact us. When I called him after 2 wks, he asked me to text him our address & he would call me back. He did not call back. I called again the next day & the call would not allow me to leave a message. I then texted him cancelling the job & told him I would stop payment on the deposit. The following day he called & apologized. I said I did not mind the delay as much as I DISLIKED the lack of communication--no text, no call re: delay & no response when I called-texted to follow up. Told him I cannot have a job done by someone who does not communicate by text or call!!!

Shortly after complaining to the Pro Grass company about their workers urinating behind the garage.. at least that's what it looked like... and the fact that when they turned around it was obvious they were putting Mr Winky back in his hiding place; anyway.. after that complaint they started blowing all the yard debris onto my front porch area. This is sooooo unprofessional. I would not recommend Pro Grass for any business especially if there are young.. and older.. children running around.. which there are and were plenty when the obscene displays were happening. I cannot stress enough that I don't trust them and I'm certainly not recommending them.

I came home after dark expecting he'd be gone, but he was still there just finishing up. He was working all day, with only a ten minute lunch break. He not only chain-sawed off the tops of the stumps because the arborists didn't do that, he also found a few other stumps we missed and threw those in for no extra charge. It's so difficult to find anyone to do any sort of yard or tree work these days, so this was like finding gold. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

So, after working with him for over a year, I think a review update is in order. Everything I said in my original review is still true. I am not going to repeat them here; please see the original review. What has become more and more clearly after interacting with him for over a year is that ZAC TAKES CARE OF MY YARD AS IF IT'S HIS OWN! He does a lot of extra things and he doesn't even charge me for them. Yesterday, I came home and found Zac on all fours on my front yard weeding! For one thing, it was a 80 degree day. Also, he is NOT even expected to put out the weeds. I learned that he had been doing that without telling me because my house is on a corner lot and is very visible to people who walk by. So, Zac is not only knowledge and good at what he does but also very passionate about what he does. I could not possibly ask for more from him.
