From the initial consultation Tim exhibited professionalism and expertise. Suggestions and designs were provided that aligned with our vision and our contract was clear, tending to every detail. Tim is a great guy, not a pushy salesman, and gives you what you ask for along with his experienced insights. But as great as Tim is, his team is even better (Sorry Tim) The guys are extremely hardworking, personable, willing to answer questions (even dumb ones) and are very talented. If you need a deck, make Dorner Decking the first stop.

Very responsive with call backs. Kept in contact via the entire job. Arrived prompt if not earlier when scheduled. The installers were awesome. They went over everything before starting the job, then when completed, they walked us through everything again. Very thorough with maintenance on our end, went over warranty. Respected the property as well did a great clean up when done. I will say they were my highest estimate, so they are on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, and we are happy, so. No contractor delays, no supply shortage issues..

These guys are driving large trucks, some with open backs and metal rods hanging out the back. They drive like they're behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta. To that end, I will never hire a business who compromises safety. I could call and issue a complaint, but given the trend with drivers, I imagine I'd be faced with someone who doesn't care. So, making others aware.

I called this company about three weeks ago looking for an estimate. I waited maybe two weeks for…read morethe estimate itself. The sales representative that came out was knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to do what he could to work with my family. He was empathetic to our situation as we'd previously been scammed out of a lot of money from a contractor that never came to do the work. He helped us by discounting the labor itself. He took the time to review options, address our questions, and he ensured we were comfortable with everything. He probably asked three times before leaving if we had any questions or concerns. This company knew we couldn't afford to put a lot down considering what the prior contractor did. They offered us financing for five years and we were able to use our credit card. This was important for us considering we didn't have a lot we could put down. The salesman had his finance representative come out that night to meet in person. She went over final paperwork details with us. She was down to earth and treated us so kindly. She even gave us her phone number so we could follow up if we ever had another question. Now for the best part. Friday we signed the papers and on Monday they came and built both our front and back decks. The work itself was beautiful. It was exactly what we agreed on and discussed. The workers were kind, very efficient, and courteous. Before leaving they reviewed how to clean our deck. They let us know the vinyl was guaranteed lifetime and the work was guaranteed for five years. My previous deck was about to fall apart and this company made it happen for us.

I reluctantly set up another appointment for the following week. When Paul finally did arrive, he was unprepared and lacked focus. He didn't have a tape measure, didn't ask many questions and he didn't take notes. I actually provided him with a sketch and estimated dimensions. Now, over a month later, there has been no estimate. I called the office hoping to get a plausible excuse so I wouldn't have to write this negative review. I was told he would get back to me, which of course never happened. I can understand if you don't want to do the job. A simple a courtesy call would have sufficed. Apparently that was too much for this Contractor who evidently just subs out the work anyway.
