And he was doing us a "favor" by saying he'll fix just the roof for under 2k. I'm sorry. You placed a brand new metal roof and you're doing us a favor for fixing it at a lower cost? It's less than four years old. He said the warranty doesn't work unless you're the person who hired him. Shady work. Shady warranty. Shady! They are family owned, honest, reasonably priced, and only use the best roofing materials available. People may find it helpful to know that they have been accredited with the BBB either A+ ratings for many years.. Both experiences with them were great and totally stress-free. The owner Thomas Ringler spent a lot of time explaining the process involved; and they had a very nice selection of shingle colors to choose from. Upon signing of the contract, they gave me a reasonable timeframe and they showed up on time. The whole process was totally stress-free. They are so confident of their workmanship that they do not ask for a deposit or a single penny upfront. I paid upon completion of the project. Their warranty cannot be beat. It includes a lifetime on the shingles and five years on the labor. I highly recommend advantage Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

BE AWARE OF THIS CROOK COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUD!!! READ THIS…read moreBEFORE HIRING THESE CROOKS!!!! I hired this company to change my damaged roof. They made me sign the AOB (assignment of benefits) which mean your insurance pays them instead of you. My roof was leaking and the roofing company told me they don't know how long the fight with insurance will continue and there is no guarantee that my insurance would pay us to fix the roof. So I went ahead and fixed that damage area plus all the damages inside the house. Six months later my insurance company agreed to pay them. They sent the check directly to the Orlando Roofing Company and I did not even know how much they paid them. This company came and changed the roof and did A VERY BAD JOB!! They tore my window screens and they were so rough on the roof that the fan in my bathroom fell down!! They covered the attic ventilation where the heat was supposed to scape, with shingles. They ruined my yard and patio furnitures by throwing the old shingles down, and the flower beds and driveway were filled with crap and nails. When I called them to come back and fix what they damaged and especially fix the opening in the attic, the crook owner "FRANK" told me: (Don't even talk about it and let it go because we are not coming back!!!) This means the warranty they give you is all BS!! After my insurance company paid them, they cancelled my insurance. I called the insurance to find out how much they paid them because I never got any information. My insurance paid them $45,000 from which $11.300 was to fix the interior damages but I fixed it out of my own pocket and the ORC (Orlando Roofing Company) kept the money my insurance paid them specifically for that. I had to get a lawyer and fight for 6 months till they paid me 1/2 of $11.300!! When my insurance company sent me the papers, I saw that the roofing company claimed damages in my house that did not exist, like living and dining rooms and the kitchen, they even included a picture of someone else's house just to collect more money from my insurance. The whole damages including the roof were not more than $30,000 but with the insurance fraud ORC did, they got more than $45,0000!! I am planing to report them to the authorities for insurance fraud. DO NOT HIRE THIS FRAUD COMPANY neither sign AOB with any company unless you request "IN WRITING" two signatures to cash the check that your insurance company will issue(the home owner signature and the roofing company signature) otherwise the roofing companies especially Orlando Roofing Company, are bunch of crooks and they wait till they find a naive homeowner to open their trap for them!! If anyone else feels the same way, we can file a class action lawsuit against this company!!! If you need more information, you can contact me via my email "Rjbeyk@yahoo.com"

I contacted Orlando Roofing Company for a roof replacement estimate on a 27 year old roof in 2018…read more Never got the estimate, but got sold to signing an AOB with them to "fight the insurance company" to cover the roof replacement on the grounds of hail damage. In hindsight, the hail damage pictures that Tom showed me were probably from another roof considering my old metal TV Dish lacked any serious hail dents. Fast-forward 1 year after a lengthy appraisal process with insurance--the umpire of the case awarded funds to cover interior damage, but $0 for the roof. Frank gets attorney fees paid whether an insurance case is won or lost thanks to the "one-way attorney fee" provision section 627.428 F.S. before the AOB Reform Bill effective 7/1/2019, which did away with the loophole that caused massive amounts of AOB abuse cases in Florida by contractors. Frank is also keeping attorney fees from funds the umpire of the case awarded us to fix our interior damage, essentially double-dipping. $2500 for a processing fee on top of that. Orlando Roofing Company hasn't done any work to the roof or interior of my home, yet they're trying to keep more than 60% of the insurance award! Last phone conversation I had, Frank scolded me for not being thankful I got any money at all and hung up on me. These are facts, not opinions. Be informed and research FL AOB abuse before you sign anything. And even though Tom will claim that all the legal fees and admin costs are paid on their end, realize that means it's actually taken out of the insurance award even if it's a double-dip. What they really want is your signature on that AOB. I'm taking this up to the Attorney General's Office, Office of Insurance Regulation, and Orange County Consumer Protection Office.

Unethical and Fraudulent Business Practice…read more I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unethical, dishonest, and potentially illegal business practices I encountered while dealing with this company. My family and I sought assistance with home repairs specifically roofing, believing that this company would provide the necessary help in a professional and trustworthy manner. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, and I feel compelled to detail the issues we have faced. From the very first interaction with Johana and Carlos the company presented itself as a reliable and supportive service, willing to work with us and our insurance provider to address the needed repairs. However, as the process unfolded, it became clear that there intentions were far from honorable and the attempted to inflate the overall price of our project and obligate us to work with them under threats. We were coerced into signing documentation that assigned all the benefits approved by our insurance company directly to this firm illegally. After extensive research I learned the FL law doesn't allow Contractors to obligate homeowners to sign an Assignment of Benefits for the purpose of protecting homeowners from companies like this. This was done under misleading circumstances, and we were made to feel that our insurance claim would be jeopardized if we did not comply.vWhen we confronted this company regarding these dishonest and unethical practices, Johana the owner responded with hostility, threats of legal action, and an extremely unprofessional demeanor. This aggressive behavior, coupled with the lack of transparency, an amended contract intentionally omitting and withholding information critical to protecting the homeowner's rights and interests. The contract was edited in a way that specifically disadvantages the homeowner by concealing important details and the misleading nature of the business dealings, has caused my family significant distress. Based on these actions, I believe this company is engaging in fraudulent and illegal activities, scamming people out of the insurance payment they get for home repairs, and preying on vulnerable families in need of assistance. Their tactics are not only unethical but also in violation of the law and they have been reported to authorities. When I expressed this to them and advised I was bo longer interested in moving forward with the service they began the legal threats! I demanded them to immediately rectify the situation by releasing us from any unfair contractual obligations and ensuring that we are no longer subject to their company's deceptive practices. Additionally, I expect this formal complaint outlining our experience to be handled appropriately to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future to another family and for this reason I decided to escalate this matter to the appropriate consumer protection agencies, including the Better Business Bureau, the Department of Insurance, and the Office of the Attorney General in addition to all social media platforms. I trust that you will take this review seriously
