The class itself was well run, informative and great fun for the dogs. All the dogs had great temperaments which ensured a safe learning experience for all. And it works... see below for what happened this morning! My dog is an adolescent, very large sighthound. This morning we were on a hike with her best friend, a similar aged pointer. We reached a clearing and right in front of us was a deer - both dogs immediately took off chasing it. Thanks to our recall work with COTW (and ongoing reinforcement) when I called her back from the chase she stopped in her tracks AND CAME RIGHT BACK! I'm so grateful that her recall training set her up for success! Thanks COTW!

We tried out a few places and Dogs Day Inn felt like a perfect fit immediately. We started with a trial day where they introduced him to the other dogs one at a time, and from there it was smooth sailing! They post tons of photos and videos of the dogs playing and causing mayhem, and you can tell that the staff loves them all so much. Beans has made a ton of friends here and it's so fun seeing them all around the neighborhood. Aside from Beans's experience, our experience as owners has been exceptional. My boyfriend is a nurse who sometimes has last-minute overnight shifts when I'm traveling for work, and DDI has been so accommodating in boarding Beans. The staff is very professional and they are super diligent with scheduling, holiday hours, email communications, etc. Just this morning I brought Beans by, not realizing that since it's the Tuesday after Memorial Day Weekend, we actually were supposed to reserve a space for him online based on limited capacity. I felt so bad for not realizing that and said I would take him home, but they were kind and understanding enough to give me a pass this time and let Beans come in for the day. It may seem small, but those kinds of actions go such a long way - especially when it was my own fault for not paying close enough attention. I really can't say enough good things. Beans (and we!!) will miss this place so much once we move later this year!!

Very long story...I moved to Roscoe a year ago and decided to try GoodVets (didn't like it there),…read morethen RVAH. I used to go to West Loop Vet and loved it there. At RVAH I was never able to have consistency with the vet I was assigned (I saw all three vets in a month and a half period), wait times were awful, no one would address the bigger picture, just single symptom analysis. Some of the front staff was downright rude. I had a semi-urgent issue with my dog and the front desk said they'd pass along and someone would call me - no one ever did. Then they gaslit me by telling me to call back if "I don't hear in normal timing." I suggested doing bloodwork to a vet tech and she said no, that wasn't necessary, then one week later I had to come back and they said bloodwork was a good idea. I definitely wasted so much money on vet visit after vet visit to get literally zero answers. None of the vets EVER followed through on what they said they'd provide. 2 stars because Dr. Turkell was very nice. Honestly, when it comes to my dog I'm just not willing to compromise and that's what RVAH was for us. I think there are so many options for vet clinics nearby, I'd recommend trying another. I've gone back to West Loop Vet.

He's usually a very chill dog but as he's gotten older he's become a little more fidgety especially when talking him to new places. When I came to pick him up, the lady at the front desk told me that he had tried to bite the groomer which I was so surprised by because I had never heard of him doing that before over many years of taking him to many different groomers. When we got home, I noticed he was shaking his head a lot but he's usually dramatic after getting a big haircut (somewhat like he's embarrassed by his new look haha) so I thought nothing of it. He has big floppy ears and a few days later I check under it and he has a huge scab. So he was shaking his head in discomfort the whole time because his ear had been cut! I understand that mistakes happen and he's an old dog with a new groomer but the fact that they hid this from me instead of even acknowledging it much less apologizing is extremely disappointing. Besides this, they honestly did a great job with the haircut so I would've come back but covering up injuring my dog is unacceptable.

As a dog owner who works long hours, I want to be confident that my dog is happy, well cared for, and gets enough exercise while I'm away. What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency about my dog's day. There is no communication at all about how she is doing, whether she ate, how active she was, or any other basic updates that pet owners appreciate. The only visibility into the dogs' day comes from inconsistent Facebook group live videos, and there is no guarantee you even see your own dog. Whenever I have questions about my dog's experience or well-being, I have had to repeatedly follow up with management and the owners to get answers. When I reached out to discuss whether I wanted to continue my membership and increase my dog's attendance for her exercise regimen, I felt like asking for basic information about her experience was treated as an inconvenience rather than a reasonable request. That was frustrating and ultimately made me feel that my concerns as a customer weren't valued. I do want to recognize that the staff and drivers always seemed kind and genuinely caring toward the dogs. My concerns are not with them, but with the overall communication and customer experience. Better transparency and more proactive updates would go a long way toward building trust with pet owners.

I've seen him not feed people's dogs for days, leave them in their kennels (crying & barking) for 10 hrs at a time. Ive heard him talk about clients in such a disrespectful way. I've seen him be cruel and abusive towards dogs that were left in his care for training. He told me that results is all that matters. I would never let him train anything of mine again.
