I went into town to the store. The only one in stock was the display. Of course I was disappointed, I asked what my options were. There is 1 coming in tomorrow on the truck. I said I'd gladly pay for it and come in tomorrow. No, you can't do that, I was told. If you pay for it now, you don't get tomorrows item, you might get the next one after that, I was told. Then, I was informed I could go to Pocatello and pick 1 up. I said I'm not driving to Pocatello, so I was told I could drive to Idaho falls then. You can imagine what my thoughts were. I said, I'd be in Boise in 2 days. Nampa had 1 but not Boise. I said great, I'll pay for it now and pick it up. NO, we can't do that. Just call in TBE morning and confirm the 1 coming arrived at this store you can get it. Fine.... I called the next morning, yes it arrived, I said great, I'll come get it. NO, it is someone else's. Michael is the staff member I spoke with, I started to speak and of course he hung up on me.... So, I called Nampa, asked them if the item was in stock, she said yes we have 1. I said great, I'll take it. I'll pay now over the phone and pick it up in the morning. She said NO, we don't offer that service , but we can hold it for the rest of the day. I said I don't want you to hold it, I want to pay for it, I was hung up on yet again ! You may wonder why I didn't just order 1. I tried that, the twin store informed me. Yes, I could order it, it would be 3 - 6 weeks, then it changed to 6 -8 weeks but , I was told I'd have to pay shipping. I said, ," I have to pay shipping to this store?" Yes, I was told Forget it Harbor Freight ! I went to home depot, bought a heavier built box with a wood top, 25% larger, heavier load rating, with a power strip including USB power ports for 100$ more.

After dropping my daughter off at work, I decided to stop at Home Depot since it was right across the street from the mall because I needed to pick up wood to complete a trellis. I grabbed the wood I needed, but wanted it cut down. I asked two associates who were nearby and they told me that they needed to load some plywood first, could I wait? I told them sure, I could wait. They sounded a little as if I was putting them out, but whatever... During the first 15 minutes that I waited, several employees walked past me: No eye contact, no "you finding everything okay?", no "do you need any help", no acknowledgment at all. Fortunately, I was still patiently waiting. But then 20 minutes go by...one of the associates walks past me a second time -- still no acknowledgment...then thirty minutes... Unable to wait any longer, I decided to just pay for the wood and leave. Up at the register, the two associates who asked if I could wait are still loading plywood. The thing is...I don't have a problem waiting. I've worked retail and understand that there are other customers and tasks that need to be done, I get that. There is a limit, however. A customer should never be left waiting for 30+ minutes. If you can't get to a customer within a reasonable amount of time, you call for assistance. You let the customer know that they haven't been forgotten. You don't walk past a customer several times and not acknowledge them, especially if they're still standing in the same spot. Pablo, up at the register, was the one highlight. He was friendly and courteous. He acknowledged me and didn't make me feel as if I was putting him out. I will be doing my shopping at Lowe's from now on. I've always been greeted and helped quickly. The associates have all acknowledged me with a smile or a question as they passed me in the aisles. I've never felt invisible there.

No one cared about this house but since this was going to be our last we wanted it to be perfect. We had contacted another company before Canyon Side, he came by heard what we wanted said he would get back to us and we never heard from him again. Thank God, because we then would not have met Adrian, Armando and the crew. They have been working on our property since June and what a beautiful job they have done. They redid the basement and removed old stairs and gave us safer stairs for us as we are in our 70's. They removed an old deck and placed a new patio with a beautiful cover. We had two new driveway's done. We added a carport and driveway since we only had a one car garage. They built the carport they replaced our old fence with new the old fence was barely hanging on and boy does it look great. Now they are in the process of re doing the siding and placing a deck in the front. After that they move into the house and will be redoing the kitchen, bathrooms, floors and some walls. I highly recommend this company for any of your projects. What an outstanding group of people. Armando, Adrian, Dave, Charlie, Jess, Carlos, Alberto and the rest of the crew. They are very mindful of your home and take very great care. Love this company. Highly recommend!

A costly mistake! This was not a good experience. Armando's…read moremismanagement and refusal to rectify the issues was extremely disappointing. This job quickly went south once we started to point out the construction defects and damages "his crew" had caused; damaged property, compromised existing radiant ceiling heating, damaged personal item (furniture, appliances, clothing, etc..) poor workmanship, and a complete disregard for the trust we offered them with our home (see photos). It started by CSC's team mistakenly tearing out the subflooring unnecessarily and not replacing it. Followed by Armando scheduling a sub-contractor to install flooring without sub-flooring. Once the flooring was installed it became obvious that the height and spacing for the cabinet, trim, and door installations was off due to no sub-flooring. We pointed this out to Armando, and he attempted to remedy the situation through short cuts with disastrous results. The flooring was now poorly installed leaving gaps, hallow spots, uneven sections and large spacing between cabinetry, walls, and brickwork. The only solutions being to replace the damaged flooring with the original professional installation standards with sub-flooring in place (see photos), but this Armando did not want to pay for. Next, we realize both bedrooms radiant ceiling heat had been damaged. These components were damaged by CSC's mismanagement of ceiling fan installations. Armando ignored questions regarding their state once the fans were installed. We did not get an honest answer until we pressured Armando into bring in an Electrician we knew was licensed. It was at this point we realized that all our plumbing and electrical work had been completed by unlicensed, uncertified, and unskilled individuals. We ask for permits and licenses for the plumbing and electrical work completed, but Armando has yet to supply them. Sadly, due to the circumstance we were in we had already given Armand a large percentage of the estimate and felt forced to continue working with him. I won't even start with the three attempts at finishing the bathroom (please see photos). We have voiced our concerns to Armando. His response was to offer a payment for the necessary repairs to the radiant heating by his insurance and pay for the flooring to be replaced. In exchange he demanded we sign a full release of liability document for all work completed. As you can understand, this was not in our best interest as the totality of the potential long-term damages this company may have caused is at this point undetermined. Without a full inspection we cannot be sure and with no permits pulled we cannot get an inspection. In short, we have spent over $20,000 to repair the damages caused by Armando's mismanagement. So far, the project remains incomplete. Armando refuses to contact us via email or text. Very disappointing. I understand that mistakes are made, and nothing is perfect. But, by the way this company handled its mistakes and continues to hide behind ambiguous contracts and vague promises I cannot recommend them. If you choose to hire this company, do not sign anything that you have not shown to lawyers, get everything in writing EVERYTHING!. Beware of potential costly outcomes!
