Today was their first day of reopening as we entered the "green phase" of the pandemic's business guidelines and they did such an awesome job. They clearly explained their new protocol and every staff member was very patient with the guests! My wax specialist was Emily. She was so personable and is evidently a very skillful aesthetician! At EWC, they use hard wax exclusively which is significantly less painful and irritating than the type of wax you find at nail salons. I am SO happy with my eyebrows! It's been 3 long months without a wax and I left Emily's lounge feeling like a brand new woman! I will definitely be going again and requesting her.

What should have been a professional and routine service became deeply uncomfortable when I experienced behavior that I felt was sexually inappropriate and crossed professional boundaries. During the appointment, I did not feel respected or safe, and I believe the conduct I experienced was unacceptable in a professional setting. Clients should be able to receive personal services like waxing without feeling sexually harassed or violated. I'm sharing this review because I feel others should be aware of my experience. Professional boundaries and client safety should always be taken seriously, especially during such an intimate service.

I would highly recommend Julie for any facial / skin treatment service!…read more I requested a customized 70-minute facial because I had been breaking out for awhile and wasn't sure why. During the intake process, it was super apparent that Julie wanted to understand how to best approach my treatment. She asked me what my goals were by the end of the facial, & I had answered that I wanted to better understand my skin in general, and I wanted to feel relaxed during my time there. Julie made sure both of those objectives were met! She had let me know that I had some dry areas (which I had no idea) and made many recommendations for different products to use -- I had been using cleansers that were way too harsh for my face. All of her suggestions she documented on my forms & invoice that were sent back to me for my reference, which I really appreciated! I feel like I understand my face much better, and my skin is looking SO much clearer and brighter! Julie also made my comfort and relaxation a top priority -- she had offered different types of headphones / earplugs for noise cancellation, always let me know in advance what technique she was about to switch to so I wasn't caught off guard, made sure the heated bed I was on was at an optimal temperature; I felt like a princess the whole time! Julie's skills and expertise are incredibly evident, as is her passion to help her clients feel better educated about their skin, feel pampered, and feel confident! I can't wait to book again!

I had called earlier and they assured me they would be able to soak my nails off. Unfortunately when I got into the location, the owner tried to talk me out of soaking my nails off. Instead of soaking my nails acetone, this man took a nail tip, proceeded to wedge it between my acrylic and nail bed then used as swiping/ sawing motion until the acrylics ripped off of my nail bed. All well, this was happening, I while this was happening I kept stating that my nails were supposed to be soaked off. I'm absolutely livid. My nails are completely destroyed. I've never been unhappy with my hair. Though I came to the salon because of my hairdresser, it's important to note the atmosphere that the salon provides. The inside is adorable, welcoming, and relaxing. The owner has a fantastic personality - she is incredibly sweet. I saw someone leave the salon and the owner ran out of the door to thank her for coming in because she forgot to do so after the customer paid. This was so sweet and thoughtful.
