I'm so Happy to write this review! Dr. Mora is Amazing!!! after years of frustration I decided to have a full Mouth restoration. The process included extractions, bridges and veneers. I could not be happier with the results, everybody in the office is friendly and knowledgeable, from the receptionist to the Two assistants who have been working with the doctor and treated me very kindly during my visits. Diley & Iliana took the time to show me all the options for my case and explain how we could get it done the best way. I decided to go through my Medicare dental insurance Solstice through Medica (now called preferred) during the pandemic. On January 6, 2021 I had a 4pm first time appointment. This appointment was supposed to be for xrays, cleaning and an eval by the dentist Yosjany Mora. Prior to anyone looking in my mouth the receptionist told me I would have to pay $25.00 co-pay for a deep cleaning. As I am terrified of the dentist and I get major anxiety I did not think this through and just paid the $25.00. How could they know I needed this without an exam?Deep cleaning is done in quadrants and takes time, more than 1 visit. I can assure you I never received a deep cleaning. A woman in street clothes entered the room to discuss all the work I would need and took her mask off. Upon questioning her about that she put the mask on under her nose. After telling her she needed to cover her nose she abruptly left the room. Shortly thereafter the office manager/vice president of the corporation, Ms. Alonso entered the room wearing a mask. She went over my xrays telling me I needed 4 root canals, crowns, a tooth extracted and fillings. She was also trying to sell me cosmetic work which I never mentioned interest in. I was given an estimate of $13,665.00 which included the charge for the cosmetic work. I had one bad tooth that needed to be pulled and she told me if I did not do the 4 toot canals right away I would need to have them extracted or I would get sepsis. As tears started to roll down my cheeks Ms. Alonso proceeded to push me to make a quick decision stating she would only charge me $10,000 if I agreed right away. Its called rapid take over. She proceeded to have me sign financing papers immediately without even giving me time to read and digest them. She would be a great used car salesman. Dr Mora proceeded to start 4 root canals all at the same time to get me on the hook. I was in the chair 4 hours On top of that they left town the next day without letting me know how to reach someone if I had a problem. If I knew this I would not have done any work. I returned one time after that and since they were not following proper covid protocol I decided not to return. I then went to a well known dentist who told me that she did 4 unnecessary root canals ( He saw my xrays) Once the root canals were started even though not necessary you must continue them. This office is unprofessional and dishonest and from the two other reviews I can see I am not the only one they scammed. read more

I went in to replace a procedure they did about a year ago and although not happy about the hidden financing back 2018..... I have to say that this time when I went in for an emergency tooth, they took care of me right away and at no additional cost, no headaches and with a smile. read more

Lying scam artists. They had me shaking under anesthesia when they brought me loan paper to sign. It was like part of the plan to pump me up with anesthesia and then come with a paper and flip to the signature section and not tell me what it was. It was a $10,000 loan i wouldn't have agreed to. The6 tell you what you need and they just take charge and do what ever they want without giving you choices or prices. I told dentist i dont want to do the bridge cause i can't afford it and she told me well we already prepped and shaved your tooth for the bridge. I was thinking wow they barely had to shave it cause i never noticed them doing it, well it happens to be that on that visit they began to shave it after they told me it was too late because it had been done already. Their office is always empty and now i know why. Karma comes to those who are on the road of taking advantage and lying to people. I dont know what kind of God they believe in but God sees everything and they may get away with this now but eventually if they go ib this way i expect this business to fall down. And it well deserves to. Dentist was great at acting sweet but she is deceiving. She drilled some areas and never filled them and told me she did. Im 40 years old with 20/20 vision. I can see my teeth. When i floss the floss goes way in to the hidden areas she left exposed. Its all a way to get you back fast to get more $ out of you. Some of these ladies are very nice but i do not trust the dentist for obvious reasons, i do not trust the "insurance lady who is really the loan lady who comes right when anesthesia is put it. She told me all these nice things to butter me up and then brought the paper. Its like some of these ladies work together in this scam. Hygienist is beautiful sweet lady, dentist helper is kind, one of the ladies in the front desk is also genuinely nice. Ive NEVER in my life experienced this type of things from anyone in the medical field. I thought people join this field because they care and want to help people. Little did i know that even in the medical field their are cold hearted scam artists! Find another a dentist. By her nonchalant response to her reviewers you can tell she clearly doesn't care. She doesn't tell you what you need. She lies and tells you what she wants and what will fill her pocket and make her job easy. They never even did my cleaning but my insurance was surely charged for it. I had appointment for my cleaning which i had to keep reminding them of and they left me a message canceling it. They got their money and that's all that matters. They are great at being sweet but are snakes in the grass. I feel sorry for their husbands because who knows what lies they feed them as well, really. Its a shame. If i could give negative stars i would! Im angry and its for a reason. I would NOT recommend this "dentist" office, don't come here whatsoever. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early and wasn't seen until 20 minutes past scheduled time. The "dental hygienist/assistant" was NOT knowledgeable, could not perform X-rays without injuring my gums, or even take the X-rays right side up. She lacked the sensitivity which you would expect from your dentist. The "dentist" performed her dental exam and claimed I had 17 CAVITIES, and needed veneers for my front two teeth. I floss and brush my teeth 40 minutes following every meal, as directed from an out-of-state family dentist, to not disrupt natural chemical reactions on teeth in response to food. Additionally, I do not consume sugary drinks or have a high carb diet which would lend itself to cavities. After her misleading examination, I was sent to another room for what seemed like a degrading lecture from another "dentist". She was suggesting that we drill out the "cavities" and place veneers on my slightly chipped teeth. The procedure would cost $4,000 which included a "mandatory" deep cleaning. This location obviously wants to scam you out of your money. The BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU has received a report about this "dental" office as well as my insurance. Instead of this location, go to General Dentistry (5711 SW 137th Ave.), and experience how a dentist should be. PS: stars are a requirement when posting reviews, don't be flattered. read more

Never in my life have I seen such scam artists in what is supposed to be a professional dental office. And even though we are in a PANDEMIC these scammers don't care! I haven't seen a dentist in over 15 years! I'm one of those people that are scared of dental procedures, but I finally had good insurance and decided to take the first step. To begin with ,I was told I have a COPAY of $27.00. I found that strange. After I was evaluated, I was told I needed a deep cleaning that usually costs $1200 and my insurance covers 50%. I found it very odd that a cleaning could cost so much. Again, I am trusting what they are saying. I am told they have IN HOUSE FINANCING.. LIES, They bring me papers covering what the heck I am signing. THEY run my credit and get me approved for $800 with Care Credit. Without telling me!!! I am trying to buy a house and they never told me they were running my CREDIT!! Long story short I call my dental insurance and check my benefits online. A deep cleaning is covered once every 24 months!! Plus I have no CO PAYS!!! I called their office and they explain to me that my Insurance only covered $73 of the deep cleaning. And that Care Credit was charged $680.00. The insurance agency advised me that a deep cleaning is covered with a prior authorization. Therefore ,they needed to send the form over to them, and once approved, they can schedule the deep cleaning. The insurance agency called the dentist and they stated they had not charged me for a deep cleaning!!!! But for OTHER CODES!! I never did any other procedure beside Xray and Deep cleaning!!! I have a pending investigation with the State of Florida Medicaid office. They are going to fully investigate this office. And based on other reviews, which they are aware of, this is absolutely not the first time this happens. read more
