Rather than pull the car apart and charge us for it, Dave told him to drive on it for awhile and see if it went away. It did go away and we haven't had an issue since. I recently took my own car in for some basic maintence. He charged me less for an oil change than Jiffy Lube, took care of my axle, and told me that my concern about my belts was unfounded and the belts were totally fine (again, something he could have easily just done and charged me for). Working with this shop was easy (they have a key drop off) and at no point was I concerned that we were being ripped off.

The owner (I'm assuming) came out of the garage and asked how my day was, told him it couldn't be worse. After explaining the problem to him he immediately said pull it in and I'll have a look. Mind you, he already had multiple vehicles in there he was working on. After a quick look he said "it looks like you're just low on fluid." He grabbed his pump, topped it off and I was back on the road within 10 minutes. Service like that just doesn't seem to exist anymore. It makes me wonder how many other shops would have told me to park it and they'd get back to me in a week with a price tag for a new transmission.. If you are having problems with your transmission take it to this very "stand-up shop." Thanks buddy for making my day!!
