I can't say enough good things about Ark Animal Clinic! They were able to get my dam, sire, and…read moreentire litter of puppies in the very next day, which was such a relief. The exams were thorough, the care was excellent, and the staff took time to explain everything clearly while making sure all my dogs were comfortable. The veterinarian and team are truly caring professionals who treat every animal as if it were their own. The facility is always spotless and welcoming, and their costs are very reasonable given the exceptional level of service. I also appreciate how easy they are to reach--multiple contact options make scheduling and follow-ups simple and convenient. It's worth mentioning that I drive 45 minutes each way so Ark Animal Clinic can care for my five adult dogs and litters whenever needed. That drive is absolutely worth it for the kindness, compassion, and quality care they consistently provide. Highly recommend!

I called and called and left message after message and couldn't get a hold of anyone and no one would return my calls! Finally a good friend of mine gave me the number to a traveling vet who met me and treated my Lab. He bounced back in no time. After this whole ordeal, I now take him back to his original vet in Jefferson county and it's worth the hour trip. I don't recommend this vet clinic at all. They won't help when your pet is sick.

I am on my way to the airport right now, and I can't bring your paper back for a refund. It's unbelievable! She even hung up the call! I want to warn you guys about this place. I really don't think she's suitable to be working in an animal hospital. She even told me it's cheap! Are you serious? I have called around 5 different animal hospitals in the area, and their prices ranged from $50 to $100 FOR THE PAPER. It's fine. I spend $268 just to find out how terrible this place is. Seriously unbelievable! I am about to start my vacation today, and I stopped by the vet with my dog to get the necessary paperwork. It's our first time traveling with my dog, so we weren't sure about the requirements. Dr. Singh was nice and quickly checked if my dog had a microchip using a machine. It took no longer than 3 minutes. He then walked over to the front desk assistant to have her prepare the vaccine record and "travel certificate." However, he didn't inform me about the cost, and it's my fault for not asking. I didn't think a piece of paper would cost much. But when they handed me the paper, the front desk told me it would be $268. I was shocked and exclaimed, "What? $268?!" ($205 for the paper, $60 for the office visit, and a Hazard Waste Fee???) I don't mind paying for the office visit, but $205 for a piece of paper seemed excessive. The front desk explained that it involved a lot of work, and this was the standard charge for everyone. They mentioned that if it were for international travel, it would cost even more, around $400-$500. I couldn't believe it. If I had known that the paper alone would cost $205, I would have considered finding pet boarding for my dog instead. It's disappointing to experience such high prices during the holiday season. Goodbye, Loudoun Valley Animal Hospital. It's time to find a new vet. This is just ridiculous! I searched online and found that a certificate for a dog to fly is usually around $38. I also called another local animal hospital, and they quoted a range of $50-$100, including the hospital visit fee.
