Dr. West and her staff were phenomenal! I brought my lovebird to her clinic after multiple calls to clinics around where I live in Columbus, GA and no one that I spoke with stated that they dealt with birds. Fortunately, I came across the All Creatures website and I called the office and was able to make a same day appointment. My bird is 5 years old and he has NEVER gotten sick before. I had been worried about him for 2 days prior since he started puffing up, falling asleep in the middle of the day, barely eating, not chirping, and overall, just not being his usual energetic self. I brought him to the clinic where Dr. West determined he was in respiratory distress likely secondary to an airway infection. She explained that it's quite common in birds especially this time of year and that the smallest things such as fluctuations in the A/C or heat and particles from air vents can cause this. He was prescribed antibiotics as well as a type of supplemental food and probiotics that I administered via syringe over 10 days. I am SO SO happy to report that he is back to chirping non-stop, playing with his toys, and shredding all the paper and wood that he can find. I am immensely grateful for their help (as someone who rarely writes reviews, on this I felt compelled to) and while I hope my bird never gets sick again, if he does, I know precisely where to go. It was my first time coming to this clinic. At first, it was nice. They were attentive for the most part and they have some birds in the front that were twittering. I was looking forward to a positive experience. No one introduced themselves to me except the vet herself, who I did not see until an hour into my visit. I left very frustrated because I felt chastised for choosing not to sedate my hedgehog. A) I'm a student and don't want to double my vet bill. (I will say it was nice of them to give quotes as they went instead of being surprised at the end of the visit). B) She has never been sedated before and has never needed to be sedated, even for ear swabs. C) At this point in a diagnosis, it seems unnecessary to check in her mouth for a tumor when an ear infection has not been ruled out and no meds have been tested to fix the issue after an ear infection was determined WITHOUT needing sedation. The fact that it was pushed on me so much after I had already said no made me really uncomfortable. There was also no explanation about what the sedation process is and what the after effects are, even as I expressed that it made me nervous to think about sedating her. As an owner, I want to be informed of absolutely everything that is going on. Further, I felt extremely stressed when my pet was taken out of the room for an exam after having been judged for not wanting sedation. I've never been to a clinic where my pet has been taken out of the room for examination. The vet said she was not able to sex my hedgie, when that information is clearly on her paperwork and I could have handled her in a way for the vet to sex her, which is what I have always done. She obviously is going to be more comfortable with her owner handling her rather than a stranger. Overall, I was not pleased. It was not a warm welcome, and I felt pressured and uncomfortable for most of the visit. They definitely care about the animals, but there was little to no empathy for me, the owner. read more

I take both my bird and rabbits here for everything from nail/wing clips to spaying. My rabbit just got spayed a couple of weeks ago and they did such an amazing job and took very good care of my baby girl. I really couldn't have asked for any better. If I could leave A zero I would! I was a first time client with my 2.5 yo old guinea pig that was having dental issues, he had quit eating on his own and I was feeding him. I took him in and was told he had overgrown teeth and needed them trimmed. I set it up at a cost of almost $500 and when I picked him up I asked if he was eating on his own and the vet tech said, "I think so." He was not eating on his own and would not, I called them at least 2-3 times a week asking about a follow up or if I could just run him by and let her take a 2 minute look into his mouth. I was told there were no issues and I would need to set up another appt and pay for it. I could not afford to pay for another visit after the teeth trim and he never eat again. He died today skin and bones three weeks after his procedure and I feel like they did not do their job. I am heartbroken and would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I typically am not the customer or client to leave a review and but this has been the rudest, unprofessional animal clinic I have ever encountered. My first visit and LAST was on 2/28/20 for annual visit for my dog. The doctor walked in the room didn't introduce herself the first thing she says is I heard your dog has been itching (because that is what I told the technician initially) she then proceed to hold his arm to get blood for his heart worm test. Initially thought that maybe she was in a rush and that I what was the cause of the rude bedside manner but I see now it wasn't. Towards the end of the appointment I asked to get a prescription filled for Trazadone ( medication for my dogs anxiety) and she began to tell me how she couldn't prescribe the medication and I asked her why not since he has gotten it from another animal clinic for several months. She then had to call my previous clinic to make sure they prescribed the medication like I was lying about it. I told myself that it was the worse visit and she would never get my business again . Fast forward to today. I placed a order on 1800 pet meds for flea, tick and heartworm medication last week and hadn't got a confirmation email. So I called 1800 Per meds and they said the medication was declined by the Vet clinic. I then called All creatures and asked them why flea and tick medication was decline and the rude reciptionist proceeded to tell me that they don't fill mediations through online pharmacies. But yet didn't have the courtesy to call and tell me that they wouldn't fill the medication I had to find out on the back end after placing the order and it being decline. I have been to this vet multiple times now with a variety of animals (two chihuahuas, a kitten, a cat, and a parakeet) for a variety of different circumstances. I've made appointments for a spay, neuter, and some annuals. I've also swung by without an appointment in an emergency situation and we were 100% taken care of! I have not been disappointed once! Dr. West is very thoughtful and thorough. Her and the staff are very good about explaining what tests they want to perform and why. They are also great about going over and explaining the procedures they want to perform and they are very very upfront about the prices. (Very competitive prices based on some other vets I have been to previously, btw). I have also always been able to schedule an appointment when I need to, even on the day of! Which has always made it super easy when I need to reschedule or change the times of my appointments. After graduating from Auburn, I moved back to my hometown. After having such great experiences with this vet office, I have actually been driving 40 minutes to continue to have my pets be seen here. I can't imagine my pets being seen by anyone else! read more

I have 2 cats that I've been taking here for a couple years now, and I will continue to do so. In my experience, they charge less for services than other vets in Auburn. They don't have the fanciest building and are located a little outside of town, but I imagine this keeps their overhead low and is how they are able to keep prices down for customers, and I'll take that trade any day. Dr. Kim and her staff have always been polite and willing to address any of my questions. The one time we needed emergency medical services after hours, Dr. Kim answered the phone right away, and she and her staff were at the clinic before we arrived. They never try to up sell me unnecessary services or products. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the Auburn area. read more

Do not go to this vet! My cat went missing for a couple days and I brought him here to be assessed since he was in really bad shape. After spending over $500 on medicine and boarding, he kept getting worse so I went somewhere else. It turns out my cat's back was broken and I ended up having to put him down. read more

We took our 7-year-old male Pitt/ boxer mix to Dr. Kim Bond West of All Creatures Vet Clinic for a neuter procedure. We picked him up the next day with injuries that happened while in her care the previous night before the procedure. He was missing his bottom teeth and his top teeth were broken in half and jagged with swollen gums and his back right leg was swollen and he could not bend it and barely walk on it. Dr. West never told us he was injured even when we called to check on him before the procedure. Instead, she decided to administer anesthesia and pain meds to him and perform the procedure. When we picked him up all she said was that he chewed his way through a steel cage the night before and broke some teeth. She was very defensive and confrontational when we asked about his injuries that affected his quality of life and his ability to protect our family. She had a bully mentality and talked in circles as if she were impaired. We are devastated and heartbroken by her gross negligence and unprofessional and unethical behavior. She needs to be investigated and her facility inspected since there are several areas with mold growing on the ceiling in the exam rooms. We should have known better when we brought our pet in for a consultation and no one even examined him to determine if he was even a candidate. The only thing they did was go through a list and upsell us to the tune of $422.41. No apologies, no remorse, no answers. We feel that he was ultimately abused while in the care of Dr. Kim Bond West. She even said that she was not willing to discuss the matter with us and waved goodbye in a very rude and intimidating way. Please do not become her next victim. Take your beloved pet elsewhere. read more
