Aldyth and her partner have done a fantastic, and loving job with my cat, Daisy. Daisy is very difficult to deal with and actively fights any efforts to hold her down and comb through her medium length hair. It was my first time leaving my 3-year-old cat and hiring a pet sitter. Since my cat needs to be hand fed and administried medication, my husband and I were very nervous and not sure if our cat would let any other people to touch her because our cat doesnt even let my in law whom she has lived with touches her. But during our 2 weeks vacations, Aldyth and Brad did a great job. We just needed them to feed my cat food and medication, and my in law would do the rest, but they offered to do the extra. After my vacations, my cat still looks the same without losing weight, and her fur even looks fluffier than before. I can tell Aldyth and Brad had comb her alot. Ever been lucky enough to have to administer medicine to your cat? How about eye drops? Let me tell you, this is the Battle Royale between cat and human. Yes, it's for their good, but when you have kitty pinned down and are coming close to its face with liquid. . . that cat isn't going down without a fight! Ahhhh, but into my home walks Aldyth Beltane, with her cool animal healer vibe. I call her the "kitty whisperer" . She's coming over to give my kitties their in home treatment. She very lovingly, patiently, and with a skill so smart (she's a vet tech you know), gently drops the medication into my kitties' eyes. Relief! Kitties are back to their usual routine of ruining my beloved retro couch, sleeping, and just being damn cute. Aldyth has been a miracle because I could no longer continue to wrestle my cats down to the ground only to fail in medicating them but they having no problem shredding my arm. Aldyth isn't just helping them out, she's helping me out by giving tips so I may be able to do this on my own one day! And for all you pet owners, these folks offer, alternative veterinary care (like acupuncture), dog walking, pet sitting, etc. Yeah, they offer all that too. Don't you love that you live in the Bay Area? Think pets in South Carolina get acupuncture? Well maybe they do, but that would ruin my point. This review is WAY overdue. It's hard to add another 5-star review when A.C.H. already has almost a perfect score. So, I'll just say a few very personal things. My daughter and I got Velvet the black cat after looking at a TON of cats in at least six shelters. We knew exactly what we were looking for in a new pet and we found her at the Nine Lives Foundation. She is PERFECT. We love this cat more than most anything in existence. And we spoil her to a point where friends, girlfriends, relatives and most everyone else think we are insane. Given she was found as a stray on the streets in a bad part of town and was not adopted for 8 months we figured there was never going to be enough love for this cat. Part of that love/insanity is making sure Velvet is taken care of in a major way when we travel and in all but one case that care is in the loving hands of All Creatures! Aldyth, Brad (and associate) David are as kooky as we are about our cat. They are quirky folks and love what they do. They are worth every penny, and have sent emails while my daughter and I were in Paris and given us full reports of how Velvet wiggled a lot during her monthly pedicure. if you have a cat and you love it and you need help with it's care, you cannot do better than All Creatures Healing. Oh and IF you are looking for a cat they are always fostering more than a few - because it's just not enough to take care of mine and others! Due to a family emergency, we had to leave town on short notice. I worried every day I was gone about my cat as he is a social eater and will stop eating if people aren't around. Aldyth stepped up and took all of his needs into consideration and assured me that my cat would be safe in her care. She was professional and caring and expressed genuine interest in our cat and his special needs. Those times I called her to check on his health, she was forthright, honest and comprehensive in her report of his activities and his health. He was not eating right the first day, but Aldyth worked with him and got him eating and kept him properly hydrated. When we came back, my cat looked better and healthier than when we left! (Honest truth) Our cat was properly hydrated, fed and his coat was healthy and shiny. Most of all, our cat was clearly happy, not attention starved and obviously well cared for. I have a very needy cat, Dudley, and was very nervous to leave him for a week. Aldyth was great. She was happy to have us call her to check in half way through the week. My mom even went over to see him one afternoon, and told me that his litterbox and food dishes were totally clean, and you could tell she was taking good care of him. Essentially, all one has to know is that they are above standard when it comes to cat care, and are so loving, thoughtful and are true "animal lovers" who will care for your cats (or any animals, I'm sure -- I only had cats). They are meticulous, even scrupulous, about detail. They are affordable and reasonable in cost (unlike many, who charge for care that they do not, in fact, give). My Maine Coon cat Gus-Gus has tons of hair and is prone to matting and regular brushings weren't enough to keep his mats at bay. I was worried that his skin was getting irritated and I didn't know what to do. Luckily, a fellow cat parent recommended Aldyth and Brad! Now they visit me and Gus every 2 months for an in-house groom and Gus is happy, healthy, and mat-free. Because Aldyth and Brad come to my home, we alleviate the trauma of putting him into his cat carrier and going out. They are experts at cat handling and are very gentle with Gus, while effectively getting all of the mats out. I had Aldyth and Brad come over and groom my two cats this week. Embarrassingly, one of my cats behaved like a monster and was going crazy, but Aldyth and Brad were calm and professional while they held him and gave him a "panty clip." (butt-shaving for long-haired cats) My other cat was afraid too, but he allowed himself to be brushed thoroughly. I'm sorry to say that I couldn't have my cat actually bathed, he was behaving so badly, but I admire the professionalism Aldyth and Brad showed while dealing with him. Aldyth was soooo great! I've never used a cat-sitter before -- always used friends or family but because SweetPea is so shy, they don't bother trying to interact w him and simply fill his food bowl, scoop the litter, and leave. Whenever I come home from trips, he is whiny and cries alot for days after my return. I let Aldyth know that he is pretty much a recluse, and she was so nice and patient with him. I felt so relieved knowing that she was coming to see him everyday and would try her best to interact with him. I just got home yesterday from a 2-week trip and I can tell today that Sweet Pea is relaxed and not upset as he had been after my previous trips away. Being "owned" by 3 cats can be tricky, especially by our 20+ pound boy, Bali. One thing Bali HATES is being brushed, so his long gray hair tends to mat and there comes a point when nothing but a shave down can cure the problem. Brave Aldyth and Brad kept their cool, when just about anyone else would have lost it trying to deal with such a large and uncooperative large cat! They did an excellent job at getting all those terrible mats out of his fur, even if it did mean a full shaving. This is just on the initial get to know us visit. We, my 3 Persians and I, expected to be meeting just Aldyth. Instead she showed up with a whole team - Aldyth, Brad and David. Just from seeing them when I opened the door, I could tell they were cat people. They took their time to get to learn where everything is and to learn about the multiple special needs of my boys. (Anyone with Persians knows these well.) I was very impressed with their concerns and the extreme note taking, not just by Aldyth, but David as well. Just the little things like which brush belongs to who (why there are separate brushes is a story in itself.), where are the cat carriers, even asking about plants to be watered and where to get the mail! They even covered emergency evacuations in case of a disaster. I had a bad experience with another pet sitter last year who never showed up during the 5 days I was gone, so it was with a lot of trepidation that I was even able to give Aldyth a call, but I'm looking forward to updating this with nothing but good stuff after I get back from my trip. read more

Many years ago, we had a previously scheduled weeklong trip and our cat came down with a large abcess on his neck that required daily care. Our vet recommended Aldyth and we've been relying on her for our cat sitting needs ever since. She is very dependable, our cats love her and she gives us frequent updates on how they are doing. When we get home, they are relaxed as if we had never left. One time our alarm went off at odd hours and she came over to meet the police for us. We trust her completely with our house and most importantly with our kitties.
