This was a different situation for selling a home and we had a situation with the appraiser of the home we were selling that went MIA and that report gone with them. In that timeframe, we had three items that need to be repaired to get the new appraisal done within three days for the buyers lender and agent. it was absolute chaos for all of us inclined as everything was hinging on this inspection. I spoke with Megan at Nevada Heating and cooling immediately the next morning who was understanding of our situation but said a lot of the techs were busy but to give her a few minutes and see what she could do for me. Within 30 minutes she called called back and we were on the schedule for the next morning to get this process going and assess the repairs requested which they did and we knew exactly what it would cost and how long to repair. With in 48 hours all repairs were done with three different technicians Alan, Rob, and Zach. All of them were on time, respectful, courteous, and there were no surprises with the repairs what was quoted is what was done. They made sure the repairs were done correctly. And I also had a check-in from Megan to make sure everything was good. I do understand that sometimes businesses get negative reviews, but I will tell you that for the past seven years I have never had any negative experiences with Nevada Heating and Cooling. They went above and beyond to help us out in a really difficult situation and we will continue with Nevada Heating and Cooling at our new home! His prices are reasonable, and per his website he offers veteran and summer discounts. Chris is also a veteran, having served with the historic 82nd Airborne followed by the Nevada National Guard. We decided to switch from a yard full of grass to a mostly-xeriscaped yard. The project included removing the existing grass, shrubs, sprinklers, concrete walkway and water lines and replacing them with pavers, rock, creek bed pebbles, shrubs, boulders, decorative lighting, drip system, electrical lines attached to timers, a mailbox pillar, and an additional step added to the entryway. After researching many companies and interviewing four, we ended up choosing Nevada Pavers & Stone. Rafael, the owner, spent a lot of time with us to determine exactly what we wanted and he was also very patient as we requested changes both before the project started and during the renovation, clearly stating if a change was included or if it would be an additional cost so there would be no surprises. Once he and his crew started the job, they did not want to stop until they finished. I mention this because often contractors will start a project, only to leave in the middle of it to work on someone else's project then return at a later date. We appreciated that this was not the case with Nevada Pavers & Stone. The crew was ready to work by 8 a.m. every morning, sometimes earlier. They worked hard all day, every day (at times they were actually jogging when transferring materials from the truck to the yard) and were respectful of our property and our neighbors' property, cleaning up as they went and at the end of each workday. They were also professionals - they knew what was expected and how to do it, and we never heard loud voices, questionable language, or loud music (in fact I did not hear any music at all, which I would not have minded). The project included many drip lines and electrical wire being run for shrubs and lighting, all of which are nicely hidden as they were buried under the new ground cover. Rafael also built a pillar for our mailbox, to which he added a decorative light on top and lighted address numbers on the front. We are very happy with our front yard. Jorge's level of service--EXCEPTIONAL. Kind and considerate, and went the extra mile multiple times. We were having an issue with our dryer telling us our vent was blocked. Jorge checked the vent from outside the house, explaining what he was seeing as he cleared out whatever he could find. Since that didn't fix the dryer issue, the dryer company sent out a (pretty lazy) service person, who took a brief look and said it was still the vent. Jorge offered to come back and take another look, even going down in the crawl space to disassemble and reassemble the dryer vent to see what else he could find. Nothing. It's actually the dryer that has a wonky sensor--thanks to Jorge's genial hard work, we now know this definitively. Thanks guys.
