We came to an agreement. When the crew came, the arborist wasn't there (later found out she'd left and moved north). As far as I could tell, the crew didn't have the instructions we'd agreed on and they did some, not all of the work. What followed was back and forth, but after a few months they sent out the crew to remedy the missing work. They did a great job and I was very glad. I appreciate the office staying on it and making it right. I've used them for 24 years and happily look forward to continuing to use them. It's a lot to trust your trees to someone!

In addition to that, they were able to schedule the job the same day because they were in the area and got there within 2 hours. The crew of about 6 men chopped and removed the tree within 1.5 hours and cleaned up the area. By noon, everything was already done and gone. The stump remained but was treated for easy future removal. I was super impressed because I considered it a really big tree for Brooklyn standards, but they made it look so easy. Phenomenal job! We paid them $7,000 -- a wildly overpriced amount -- but because they did a good job for us in 2022, we trusted them again. That trust was a huge mistake. It is now three months later and my yard is still in complete despair. The owner, Joe, specifically agreed to also remove the stump, and yet it still sits rotting in my backyard. Because of this, weeds have overtaken the space and my family hasn't been able to enjoy our backyard the entire summer. I have called, texted, and left voicemails multiple times. Joe occasionally responds just enough to string me along, then disappears to chase new projects and new customers' money, while completely ignoring the work I already paid him for. His behavior is unprofessional, dishonest, and absolutely disgraceful. At this point, I've contacted officials, and my attorney will be handling this matter moving forward. ATLAS TREE SERVICE IS *EXCELLENT*!…read more We had been delaying having several large trees removed from our property--partly due to the exorbitant costs we were being quoted, and partly due to the enormity of the project and concern for potential damage to landscaping on our (and our neighbors') property. The job was also complicated and worrisome because the trees were among ConEd electrical lines. By chance, we had seen an Atlas Tree Service truck while driving. A quick Google search showed a 4.9 (out of 5) star rating with over 200 reviews. We called Antonio (the owner) who came over promptly. He provided a quote and to our delight, his prices were more than reasonable (by a large margin). After a week's worth of work which included trimming all the smaller trees on our property in addition to removing very large trees. Antonio and his crew left without a trace that they were here. His guys (and daughter!) were meticulous in their efforts, hard-working, efficient, professional, and pleasant. Antonio is an honorable man who is extremely experienced, easy, and pleasant to do business with. To summarize, we cannot say enough good things about Atlas Tree Services.
