They did accomadate my traditional oil request (5w-30 vs 0w-20). i get it, environmemtal fees, labor, etc, and probably price competive with everyone else. But wow.

Well that's changed.... I had brought my 2003 F350 7.3 in and wanted to go from standard coolant to an ELC. I would have done it my self but changing meant at least 3-4 flushes including pulling the plugs on the block. Not a good idea to have any residual standard coolant to be mixed with the ELC. So I brought it in and had them do a complete flush and go with the ELC. The truck doesn't get driven all the time but it's been 7 years since this was done and only less than 30,000 miles...ELC is supposed to last a minimum of 75,000 but more into the 100k range. That is if the flush was complete.!!!! Well it wasn't. Since moving to Tennessee and more rural than we were out there, I started doing my own oil changes and noticed separation in the see through over flow bottle. Haven't had an over heating problem but would have if I hadn't caught this. I had sludge in the overflow bottle and panicked. I started draining the overflow bottle and decided to order a new one to get rid of at least a gallon of pure sludge still sitting in it after draining. Decided I'd better do a complete flush as this is probably through the whole system. What really bothers me is there's at least 3 different coolants in this and it hasn't been touched since I had Jiffey Lube do a complete flush and change to the ELC. When I drained the radiator and overflow I got two shades of orange and they separate as can be seen in the picture. When I pulled the block plugs a got green and lots of sludge. I've been flushing for two days now and still getting floating sludge after running for 10 mins....at least 7-8 flushes so far, one with 23 fl ounces of Rislone Hy-per Cool cleaner supper flush. Hopefully I can get this cleaned out....if I still lived there....lets just say they wouldn't like where all this waste coolant would be going. The idiots there shouldn't be allowed to work on a child's toy.

Background and Initial Service: My vehicle's transmission was rebuilt a few months ago by a different authorized ATRA shop. Due to a recent move, the original shop authorized me to bring the car to this affiliate location, a 30-mile drive from my new home, for a warranty diagnosis. Upon drop-off on 11/18/2025, the front desk employee immediately became cold and dismissive when I mentioned the words "warranty repair." The Issue & The Refusal to Diagnose: The problem is specific and reproducible: when the car is cold, driving downhill causes the transmission to shift into what feels like neutral. Pressing the gas results in rising RPMs but no movement, forcing me to shut the engine off and restart it to re-engage the drive. After two days, I received a call informing me they could not reproduce the issue and were refusing to work on the car. I explained to Miguel that the condition requires a cold start and a specific downhill coast, asking them to try again or keep the car longer. He flatly refused any further testing, stating they were done with the vehicle. Integrity Violation and Fraudulent Documentation: Since they refused to honor the warranty, I requested a written reason for the denial of service, which is standard procedure. Miguel went to review my paperwork. When he returned, he presented a form and demanded I sign it before he would provide any written explanation. This form was an explicit waiver where I would acknowledge that the issue I claimed was not present and that their testing proved my claim was false. I refused to sign a document that was contrary to reality, as the transmission issue is demonstrably still present. The Threat and Escalation: Because I refused to sign the false waiver, Miguel refused to give me any written denial and escalated the situation. He told me he wouldn't help me anymore because I was "not a nice person." When I stated I would write an accurate review of this unprofessional experience, he raised his voice and began threatening me: Threats of litigation. Explicit threats of physical harm to myself and/or my property at my home. Threats to contact my employer to have me fired. I immediately took my keys and walked to my car, with Miguel following me out of the office, continuing to curse and issue threats. This behavior is far beyond poor customer service; it is menacing, unprofessional, and a direct failure to honor the ATRA warranty program. The shop refused to perform due diligence, attempted to force me to sign a false legal document, and threatened my physical safety. Avoid this business at all costs. AAA had diagnosed the alternator gone bad on our 2002 e320. Over the course of the day, we called over and over with no avail to check on the status of this seemingly simple repair. We had no answer after a call in the morning saying they were very busy. We never spoke to the mechanic but we spoke to a Michelle over and over who said the mechanic would call us back on the status of the repair. He never did. When we finally got through and picked up the car they charged us $300 for labor and $267 for the alternator. Reason? It was too hard. If you google e320 alternator repair, you can see a video of a guy who does the job in 15 minutes. So I'm left with one of two conclusions, the mechanic sucks or the mechanic is a phone call dodging scumbag. TL;DR? Get your car towed somewhere else where an alternator job isn't considered difficult. You may have scammed my old man for a couple hundred, but I sure as hell hope this review turns away many more customers. Hope it was worth it. Merry Christmas all!

He said there was an issue with the fuze so he wanted to install a bypass wire to just get the car started, which would of been just a grounded wire straight to the battery to start the car, not a permanent fix but would be an inconvenience to start it every time and he was going to charge me 2,000$ for it. Then he stated the car gave him two codes one for the crank shaft position sensor and cam shaft sensors and now he's telling me the engine is wrong so it would be another 1,000$ I decided to take my car out of there and he charged me 300$ for nothing ! He didn't fix my car and charged me two diagnostics. Anyways I took my car to another mechanic in Lancaster and he figured it out and so the vehicle had a GPS/kill switch from the dealer ship. There was a faulty wire or some kinda of issue with it and he removed the dealership GPS/kill switch and did a little rewiring to let the car start naturally, by doing that they fixed my car and removed the crank shaft and cam shaft sensor codes. Essentially fixing the car completely for a low cost of 220$. Meanwhile AA advanced mobile mechanics wanted to charge me up to 3,000$. Clearly they like to rip people off! Anyway, Thank You J&J Electric and Auto repair for fixing my car.
