My Girlfriends and I hired Luxury Limo Service for a Wine Tour. We had a difficult experience…read more 1. The driver arrived 1/2 hour late. Evidently due to a battery problem with the car. 2. The a/c did not work properly. This was particularly upsetting when the driver mentioned that the a/c was acting up the weekend before. We had the back windows down for air circulation for 4 of the 6 hours of the trip. There are only 2 operable windows in the very back of the limo so needless to say, it was uncomfortable because it was a hot day. 3. We were only able to visit 2 wineries during our 6 hour trip because the driver was lost for 2 of the 6 hours. There was no cell/GPS service in and around the 2nd winery and the driver had no back up directions. The original list of wineries proposed by Luxury Limo were too far from our pickup and drop off location and would have had us riding in the limo for 3+ hours. Chrissy, one of the owners, was supposed to help with the selection of different wineries. I never heard back from her so about 10 days before our tour, I spent some time researching other wineries and laid out a trip where we would be in the limo for just over 2 hours. I picked 3 wineries and 2 extras close to home that we could visit if time permitted. I sent the names of the wineries with addresses to Chrissy for approval. She agreed the list was "great" and modified the contract accordingly. The most frustrating part of the entire experience is how Luxury Limo dealt with the issues we had. 1. They apologized for the driver being late and said they would not charge us extra for returning 1/2 hour late. Our tour was supposed to be from noon to 6:00pm. It was from 12:30 to 6:30 because the driver was late. 2. They insisted that the a/c was working properly. 3. They insisted that the driver only made one wrong turn and besides I picked the wineries and this wasn't there usual route. Their position was that we paid for 6 hours of limo time and that is what we got. Our position was that we hired a limo service to drive us to at least 3 predetermined wineries and that the driver should know where he is going and the ride should be at least comfortable if not luxurious. In the end, they refunded $100 of the $550 we paid.
