Dr. Papandreas accurately diagnosed my injury (which was verified by an MRI), provided me with immediate relief, and provided me with a comprehensive and reasonably priced rehabilitation program consisting of chiropractic adjustments, decompression, physical therapy, stem, and massage. He also suggested a back brace that's low profile, comfortable, and provides support while I ride. Not only have I been able to continue to ride as I normally do, I was able to compete in the national competition I worked all year to qualify for. I had little down time and his approach was able to heal me without surgery or injections. I have had both aquatic and regular (land) therapy. I use the pool for exercise. The warm water pool has benefits that regular swimming pools do not have. The pool equipment is provided and enhances the water exercises. I have also worked with a therapist in the exercises room in a program designed for me. LAC is my go-to fitness place. Don't know what I would do without it.

SERVICES -- They have acupuncture, back and neck chiropractic adjustments, massages, X-Ray imaging, etc. I visited this new location on 4 November 2021 for a Chiropractic back adjustment and then I came back on 9 November 2021 for a Deep Tissue Massage (full body) with Derek. Both services went great especially the massage because the massage was a whole full hour. Dr. Andy who does the chiropractic adjustments here is great. He doesn't pressure me to sign up for any packages and he listens to my concerns and questions about my back. INSURANCE -- The only problem that I have is that they don't have a good system to accept health insurance. Even if you have a health insurance plan, they will only accept it if the total cost of your chiropractic service is below (or above?) a certain dollar amount. Well, I suppose you can blame the insurance companies for this too. Example, if your insurance plan only covers a chiropractor visit that costs $70 and up, then you can't use your insurance plan at Great Lakes. PRICING -- Previously, a chiropractic adjustment was $45 but as of 2022, it is now $50 which is expensive because an adjustment takes less than 3 minutes. Prior to the adjustment; however, patients are asked to sit on the wobble chair to warm up their spine. I recommend Great Lakes Health and Wellness for your chiropractic needs.
