I went to high school in Miami so an old, good friend told me about this crawl "Where Locals Go" about this crawl. Now since I was visiting Miami for a girls trip, I told my friends about the crawl and they were excited about reading past good reviews. When we arrived at this bar called SHOTS where the registration was being held. We were greeted instantly with happy host and were given our wrist bands and tickets for all crawls included with the Crawl. The different types of bars and atmosphere was extremely pleasing. All different types of genre's played at the 5 different locations. All and all, we had an amazing time and I really hope to catch another the next time I go to Miami! (I remember this area when I went to high school nearby and it was just the hood, but I'll leave it at that...don't want any more gray hairs to pop up!) Anyways, Wynwood / Design District has grown up and diversified now and known by the mainstream. Nowadays you're likely to see a DJ performance in front of a local (non green mermaid) coffee shop with live breakdancing, live street painting, performance art such as planking in one of the public spaces, and bands in the other . You're also likely to run into a bunch of majorly cool people around the different galleries too. Don't forget the bunch of new restaurants, plus the food trucks either! Sure, parking can be an adventure and / or overpriced ($10 for an unimproved lot where my "Eleanor" gets dirty?? ) But what would a hot night in the city be without a little adventure!

There was a buffet with cheese, bread, salad bar, carved meat, soup, and a few other hot items. Overall, everything was just average and the hot items were all very dry- like cheap, bad banquet food. I would've preferred just a sandwich, soup, and salad bar with fruit and cheese as opposed to them trying to do hot food that's just not very good. I'd definitely come back for lunch, and will probably just load up on the soup and salad to take in the nice view!

Despite its stuffy old boys' club appearance, I have only encountered the friendliest of service in this sophisticated setting. I just wish the food was better. However, I do know they have take out and the restaurant is open for a limited amount of hours if you're in the area to dine. I've tried it all here as far as options go, chicken, salmon, and meat....all ok. For some reason though, their desserts are always better. It overlooks the bay from the 14th floor and I believe this is a hidden gem for private parties or receptions. Finding the Bankers Club can be confusing if attending for the first time. Make sure you park in the right garage or you won't get your parking validated.

I got hired on to work 30 hours a week at $16 and hour along with whatever the rate per course/class is. My first week I worked well over 40 hours, taking care of task that I already knew how to do. Come pay day, I'm told that this is the training period and I will receive $150 for the 40 hours worked or nothing at all. I make it through the training period and i am suppose to get my full hourly wage no matter what, and guess what? There suddenly isn't any work. It make sense why Pedro typically hires younger females with little to no self respect or esteem, because they won't stand up for themselves and they'll play along with his narratives, even if the are wrong or disrespectful. Because when I stood up for myself and my property he tried to get physical with me at his co working space in Wynwood. Now, Pedro won't pay me for the hours I worked because I stood up for myself and in the process he embarrassed himself in front of everyone he displays a fake attitude and demeanor towards. The tours and the can control course are a great time however I would just like to let you guys know what happens behind the scenes and the kind of person you're dealing with! Wakefield and Wynwood Brewing Company donate keg after beautiful keg to every official and unofficial member of the National Alliance against Sobriety in attendance. November 23rd and 24th kicks off the 14th season of SoundScape Cinema Series, a free movie event every Wednesday at 8 PM. You can bring a picnic and enjoy the free shows. The park is easily recognizable by its conic pergolas at the edge of the park. Their shape was inspired by the puffy cumulous clouds often seen in the sky in South Florida's tropical climate.
