The canopies were very low, lots of broken and dead limbs, and we had a few trees that were so overgrown that they were against the house and roof. The initial walkthrough was with Chase Hartman, a Certified Arborist. We looked at every tree on my property and discussed what could be done to it to raise the canopy, thin it out, check for damage and disease, and make sure it's healthy and will continue to flourish. At the end of the walk, they were going to limb up and thin out six huge trees in my front yard, take down a pine and oak that had grown together and were way too close to my home, take down six dead Leyland Cyprus and two huge pine trees that if they fell, would crush my home. A week later, the crew arrived with two trucks, a bobcat loader, a chipper, and eight very experienced crew. They sized up the access to the property, spoke with my neighbors to ask to use their driveways to get to my backyard, and went to work. It was incredible to watch professionals practice their craft! They systematically worked on the two large pines in the backyard by climbing the tree and cutting limbs as they went up. Piling up the limbs to be pulled away by the bobcat to the chipped. Within two hours, both large pines were gone, and work started on the cypress, which they made quick work of. They arrived at eight AM and left at one-thirty PM. Professional from start to finish. They protected my yard, my neighbors' yards, and systematically, cleanly dropped ten trees and cleaned/limbed up six trees. From the first walkthrough to the final stump grinding a week after the tree work, excellent communications, great service, extremely professional and friendly. My new Arborist and Tree service for my home!

They were priced competitively, took care of the permitting, and got the work done in a timely manner. Beyond that, they cleaned up after themselves and had our property looking immaculate afterwards. The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Northside does excellent work and I recommend them if you need a tree taken down.

They were swift and communicative if they needed me or had any questions. They went above and beyond and were able to give us a quote for what our budget was and helped haul away any excess trees that we did not keep. I had tried other "common name" lawn services in the past with poor results and poor customer service, so I called Simply Green this time and they came right out and spoke with me in person and I was able to show them the exact weed that I was most concerned with, as well as all the others in my yard (of which there were many) and the entire areas I needed treated. They began in the winter when my lawn was dormant, and I have had a green healthy lawn all summer. There have been two occasions where I felt the weeds were coming back between scheduled service dates, and I contacted Michelle who sent out technicians free of charge to retreat the problem, and did so very quickly. I have been fortunate enough to speak to the techs who service my property on several treatment dates and they are professional, friendly, and eager to share their knowledge to help you maintain a great lawn. They have also pointed out several issues with my lawn such as "shade problem" to let me know why my grass is think or non-existent and that the issue is not mine nor their's but rather Mother Nature's. They not only treat with weed killers and fertilizers, but will physically dig up a tough weed when necessary. I've never had service as thorough and friendly as I have with Michelle and Simply Green. I only signed up for the basic lawn service, but they also offer additional services for shrubs, core aeration, reseeding and others, and I will use Simply Green if I decide to have any of that done. They also offer online payment options and you have an online account to show past visit history as well as future appointments. This is very convenient and helpful. They are a great company to work with, they provide a great service, and all I have to do is water my green, healthy lawn and watch my neighbors slow down as they pass and turn green with envy.
