Neuromuscular therapy is a very specialized method of releasing muscles that have seized or are very tight and/or causing pain. Kimberley has trained for years in these special techniques and will be very straightforward with you about what she discovers about your muscles and what she is doing. She also gives you an information sheet/tells you what to do to help your recovery afterward. She really wants you to get well and stay well. I will be going to see her a few more times in order to fully correct what is needed (my body has been tight for many years, so I will probably need more sessions than what most people may need). I had great improvement by the end of my first session and continued improvement when following her daily instructions. Her business is located inside of Boca Tanning Club, so you can hear tanning customers coming in and out and the music they play (which was pretty decent surprisingly), but that didn't bother me at all. Kimberley is incredibly professional and knowledgeable and was wonderful at explaining what she was finding and how all my problem areas were affecting each other. The exercises and icing she recommends daily definitely help, so don't expect her to do all the work and not do your part afterward and be miraculously better. I can't say what all her patients have to do, but my exercises are incredibly easy and take about 10 minutes max each day, plus icing for 20 minutes once a day (or more if I need it - but you have to wait at least 1 full hour between icing so blood can flow back to the area and begin healing). So for me, 30 minutes of taking care of myself daily is very worth it to correct my issues. (I ice while I eat a meal, so I'm not really losing time icing anyway, so it's really more like 10 minutes out of my day.) I highly, highly recommend seeing her if you have tight muscles for any reason. I've been to a chiropractor regularly for years, and that helped me, but only so much. Kimberley was able to really get in and release some of my muscles nobody else could. Do yourself a favor and try her if nothing else seems to be working. (She also helps people with muscle tightness from training.)
