Lori is wonderful, and so is her work. We have long enjoyed her balloons at neighborhood events, and this year she did a last-minute balloon installation for a family birthday, including a variety of fun shapes and bright colors. It looked great for several days despite pouring rain and brightened the whole block. Even though the display was for an adult, Lori thoughtfully also provided a balloon unicorn for our young daughter. My wife and I hired Lori last weekend for our nephew's birthday party to do Painted Tattoos and Balloon Artistry. We were initially hesitant to include the Painted Tattoos after reading another review but Lori convinced us that it was always a huge hit. In retrospect, we are really glad we listened to her. The kids loved the tattoos and, by the end, a lot of the parents asked (and received) them as well! They looked so much like real tattoos that I ended up getting one too! I was surprised how long it lasted. I just washed it off today. I got all kinds of rave reviews from friends of mine, and parents of the kids at the party have been calling my wife to say how much they liked them. Lori's balloons are "out of this world". We saw things that we have never seen anyone make before. But what I personally enjoyed was how very entertaining Lori was while she was making them. Almost everyone got a different balloon, from Queen Elsa to Hello Kitty. You can't go wrong with Painted Tattoos or Balloons. Given how much of a 'hit' the tattoos package was, we were just discussing that we now wish we had also opted for the package that also included Kid's Party Games and Dances. We have used Lori on 3 sepearate birthday parties for preschoolers & she is AWESOME! She is very professional, arrives early to the event, very creative & does a great job keeping the kids engaged. At each of our parties, Lori did the Deluxe Super Fun package which included: balloon animals, dancing & games, and tattoos. I will provide a short review of each: Balloon Animals: Lori's balloon animals are the BEST! She has the most creative creations and the kids (and parents) love them. She makes balloon hats, rings, animals, princesses, and much more! At one of the parties, the kids loved their balloon animals so much we had to keep them inside to protect them before taking them home! Dancing & Games: Lori plays age appropriate music during the dancing portion and leads the kids in dances & games. She brings props to add to the fun & does a great job of keeping the kids engaged. Parents love this part because they can sit back, relax & enjoy the party (without worrying about their kids). Tattoos: Lori does a painted/stamping technique for tattoos and she has tons of designs to pick from. Personally, I like her approach because it feels more natural and less invasive than other methods. I also like the colors she uses because it is glittery. read more

Lori was AMAZING!!! We had a birthday party for our son (1yr) and had children of various ages ranging from 3 yrs old to 9 yrs old. I found Lori on ChicagoKids.com. She was very pleasant and professional over the phone. On the day of the event Lori showed up 20 minutes early to set up and was ready to start at the contracted time! (I have had bad experience in the past with other people so this was a HUGE PLUS) I will admit there was challenges with the kids ages ranging so much, but Lori not only kept everyone very occupied and interested, many of the parents (even the men) gravitated towards her show ...cuz it was that good! I found All About Fun through a friend of a friend involved with Circus in the Parks. Lori did NOT disappoint. She showed up early to set up and even provided music, which really enhanced our 4th birthday party at Wrightwood Park. We had kids ranging from 2 to 8 and I think everyone had a wonderful time. Lori is fantastic! So professional in dealing with the contract prior to the event. Then on the day of the party, the kids loved her awesome tattoos and balloon creations. She even impressed the parents with her intricate balloons.
