We attended the Adele cover of the candlelight show. Pricey but enjoyable. The dim lighting added a different element to the concert. Twas more intimate, made your sense of hearing appreciate & concentrate on the music better. Show was about an hour. A complaint I would make is don't allow aluminum can beverages because they were noisy throughout the performance. Slightly interested in the other venues. read more

Recently went to a Fever's Candlelight Concert Taylor Swift theme and loved it! The Metropolis Strong Quartet played lovely! I'd totally come back to see them. The string quartet did quite a few medleys which was good because Taylor Swift has a vast portfolio so I thought that was a very good way to get in tons of her songs. I liked guessing what song was what. The venue itself was gorgeous. It had a very vintage and elaborate feel. The candles everywhere only made it more beautiful. Only bummer was small bathroom stalls. The acoustics were very nice in this venue, too. I felt very enveloped by the orchestral musicians. It was a very captivating and lovely show. This is a really great place to see the Candlelight Concerts and there is no need to pay for closer seating as all seats are great. I think people were paying extra for a picture in front of the stage with all the candles. So just wait until the end of the performance and take a picture yourself. Parking is a little hard in the area as it is all street parking. However, there are some restaurants nearby offering valet parking for diners, so grab some chow and collect your car after the show. read more

So, we had our wedding set for July 18, 2026. Remember that date! We made a bunch of payments to The Stan Mansion. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the wedding. Not because we broke up or anything like that. My fiancé lost his job and hasn't worked for two months. I've had some health issues and just can't deal with anymore stress. So, I called and let them know we had to cancel. As soon as I even started the call, I started crying my eyes out. This what not what I wanted to do at all. This was my dream wedding! It broke my heart to cancel. Since there is plenty of time for them to reschedule, I asked if we could get some of our deposit back. Not all of it but some. We're seriously struggling financially since me fiancé has been out of work. We could use some of that money back. We barely even have enough money for food let alone bills and rent. I was told they can't do that. I asked what my hard earned money is going towards since we're not using the venue. They basically said that they need to get paid too. Well, every time I have been there to drop off a check, there was an event setting up. I highly doubt a couple thousand dollars is going to break them. I'm sure they have plenty more events coming up. As long as they get paid, who cares if me and my partner starve or become homeless I guess. Stan Mansion doesn't care about you at all. As long as they get their money, that's all they care about. Update to Cera: We don't want to use your venue for a later date! I said this in the emails I have sent. WE NEED THE MONEY! I have seen venues make exceptions for dire situations like this! You have plenty of events that you can refund $2000 out of the thousands we have already given you! It clearly shows you guys don't care about people. Only yourselves! read more

Stan Mansion was gorgeous! We went to Stan Mansion for an ABBA themed Candlelight Concert hosted by Feverup. It was magical. The room was filled with stunning candles (fake so no fire hazards here!). I love live music and I've been on the hunt to hear something with an orchestra. While it was only a string quartet, it was utterly beautiful. They played wonderfully! We sat front row on the side on a raised area. I believe we bought A tickets. I personally would recommend front row tickets because you could hear and see a lot better. It wasn't surround sound by any means and the mics were a bit too low. I also enjoyed being on the side, as the main area in the middle was too crowded for my liking. There was a bar with themed drinks in the room adjacent to it. Come on time and plan for issues with parking! We circled back so many times because we could not find parking. We parked far and had to walk. Be aware that the building doesn't really appear to be a mansion from the outside, had it not been for the signs we would've passed the place thinking it was just another building. Service was wonderful! The staff were kind and allowed us to stay and take photos. I am so thrilled by these Candlelight Concerts! We will be going to the Taylor Swift one soon! read more

Not only do I rate restaurants, I like to rate venues and experiences too! Therefore, I would like to share a recent experience that I had at the Stan Mansion in Logan Square. Candlelight Concerts presented a series: A Tribute to Beyoncé. Since I am a MEGA Fan of hers, I just had to purchase a ticket. Apparently, some of her most popular songs were performed utilizing instruments that you typically would not hear on a good number of her songs or on the radio. Let me tell you. There is nothing like hearing "Say My Name", "XO", and "Cuff It" being played on string instruments! I was completely amazing. What a great show, and it all took place at the beautiful Stan Mansion! The decor was romantic, classical, and very intimate. No wonder people have weddings here! The staff was welcoming, and the accommodations for where everything was center (drinks, snacks, floral step and repeat, and of course the concert hall) was well done. I braved the winter storm to attend this particular concert, and had to quickly find parking in the neighborhood. But I think that I will pay another visit to the Stan Mansion during late Spring and the Summer season just to get a more holistic view and experience. read more

Wow!! FeverUp and Secret Chicago just staged an incredible candlelight string quartet event last night at the Stan Mansion!!! I was blown away. Beethoven! The space is beyond gorgeous and the staff members were so nice! Free coat check. Free street parking. Peaceful, posh, and gorgeous experience from start to finish! As I was leaving a staff member was wiping down the banisters with cleaning products. Most likely, the remaining FeverUp candlelight performances will be cancelled due to the quarantine, but I'm really glad I got to go last night. Stunning place!!! read more

We attended a candlelight concert in the Stan Mansion. Located in Logan Square, we were able to find street parking literally across the street with no problems, it was our lucky night. The venue is stunning , with old world charm. The venue provides an intimate setting for a tribute to Adele. The seating is not reserved by seat, but my section and we selected seats on the side balcony and had no problem seeing, but view would have been good in any location. All of the staff were kind and helpful. You did need to sign a COVID waiver before entering. There is a bar offering beer, wine and cocktails. The garden outside the mansion is equally as beautiful. This was a wonderful event in a stunning venue. read more

Everything about tonight was amazing and beautiful. This is the most gorgeous historical venue in Logan Square. I absolutely enjoyed this night. It was such a magical night for me. Stan Mansion was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. The main dining hall and attached bar area worked perfectly for our guests. The cocktail hour after the ceremony was downstairs. That room was fine, other than the noise level with 150 people in there was overwhelming at times. Other than that, we enjoyed the venue and highly recommend. read more

I've driven by California and Logan and am so disappointed I have not discovered Stan Mansion sooner! It is such a gorgeous venue! Great for private parties and events. If you need a mansion to throw an event, this is the perfect place! My bf got me surprised tickets to the "Candlelight's Valentine special" which featured a string quartet playing Mozart and Tchaikovsky! It was a very intimate venue where we had very good visibility of the performers. We were about 4 or 5 rows behind the "stage" in the center. The flame less candles illuminating the room created a very warm and inviting atmosphere. read more

Went to the Stan Mansion open house preview a couple of months ago. Wow what a beautiful place! Formerly a masonic temple, built in 1921, the building is fully restored. Stan Mansion is located in the historic and Charming Logan Square area of Chicago. There are five areas of the mansion that we were able to tour. The grand foyer, the lower-level ballroom, the bar - Lounge, the main ballroom, and the bridal Suite. The Mansion is rented out for weddings and corporate events. Their experienced staff is available and can help with all areas for your special events. I have only heard great things from anyone who has ever had a wedding here.I have attached some pictures of some of the vendors and food and items that they can supply for your wedding. Came here for the Candlelight: Vivaldi's Four Seasons concert hosted by Fever. Ordered tickets online. Found parking a couple blocks away - but they said there was free parking at a nearby grammar school. Check in was swift and uneventful using the Fever app. The concert started 10 minutes after 9pm and folks were still trailing in right before the start. Try to get there when the doors open since seats are assigned upon arrival. The room is romantic with the faux candles placed around the raised stage and around the room. The musicians were amazing. At one point, I thought we were going to lose a violin string or two -- such intensity and passion! Vivaldi Four Seasons was the longest set. Ode to Joy and a couple Christmas songs to round out the set. Chairs are placed around the stage in zones A, B, C, D. The difference in zones is a about $5 but visibility is pretty good no matter which zone you are sitting in. Chairs were not the most comfortable, but the concert lasted for about an hour. Great spot to take photos outside in front of the Stan Mansion. Great experience overall! read more

We got married here Saturday night and had nothing but the best experience! Aleya our coordinator was wonderful and such a help. Cera, the owner, is very involved and helpful with the best energy and went above and beyond--my dress was missing the bustle and so she sewed it up for me before the dinner!! I first visited Stan Mansion attending a Candlelight Series Fever music event. It was love at first sight at the venue. I had such a good time taking pictures around the space. My fiancée and I thought the Stan Mansion could be a perfect venue for our wedding day. Once I got engaged, the first venue I looked at for my wedding was Stan Mansion. I received excellent service during my viewing. The bridal suite in the Stan Mansion is to die for. I loved my presentation. It was a tough choice, but I did select a different venue for my wedding. This was very hard for me because it was like going through a breakup. I had followed Stan Mansion months prior on Instagram. I hope I can have some event there in the future. Customer service is excellent. They offer a lot of flexibility with vendor selections for weddings. The only vendor that is mandatory for them is catering. I highly recommend Stan Mansion. read more

Picked Stan Mansion for our wedding, everything was perfect! We picked the venue because it was stylish but simple, and also allowed us to have our ceremony and reception at the same venue (ceremony downstairs and reception in the large room upstairs). Cera and her team Were great through that process, giving us tours and info, etc. Leading into the wedding- we were initially hesitant to go with a day of coordinator (because we are frugal), but after deciding on one and working with Kathy, we are SO glad we did! She was a huge help with the planning/ scheduling, and an absolute rock in coordinating the vendors, entrances, etc. The venue also had beautiful decor such as centerpieces, table cards, an arch, candles, etc. we were able to use without having to shop around. When my wife and I were looking at different venues, we did so by different tiers based on the pricing. We stopped by other venues before going to Stan Mansion, and while adequate for our needs, were missing that special something. None of them quite jumped out as us as the one we envisioned, and we almost gave up on the idea that any venue would live up to the vision we had; that is, until we went to Stan Mansion. Located in Logan Square, this venue is tucked away and is unassuming at first. You can walk past it and will never imagine it is a venue. However, right as you enter the main doors of the mansion, you are welcomed into a gorgeous, sophisticated, and beautiful space. We got a chance to tour the entire mansion, and each room, from the main ballroom to the bridal sweet to the bar area, was like something straight out of our imagination. We knew we absolutely needed to go with this location as our wedding venue just for the sheer elegance and vibrance of the place, but on top of that, we were provided great wisdom by the lovely Cera Stan along with the in-house wedding coordinator, Kathy, we included. Both of them did a absolutely fantastic job guiding us throughout the process, and also offered excellent recommendations for other vendors, a few of which we ended up going with and were not disappointed by either! The day of the event, because of the ample space of the ballroom and downstairs floor where we had cocktail hour, all of our guests were able to spread out if they wanted to, or get together with other friends and family they hadn't seen in a while. The table layout worked perfectly for our guest count, as it did not have the feeling of being crowded, and this is including areas for a photo booth, churro bar, and designated dance floor! Needless to say, the place can host even larger events with more people if needed. Overall, we fell in love with the venue and people at Stan Mansion right from the beginning, and we would not hesitate in the least to recommend this place to anyone that has the budget for it (even if you need to squeeze out some extra cash to do it, it's worth it). read more

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Stan Mansion on 2 occasions. The first time back in October 2008 for my first Yelp Event which was the infamous Halloween party that still gets talked about to this day. The 2nd time was this past weekend at a friends wedding reception which was a heck of a party...definitely a blast! A nice, beautiful space as the main room is quite spacious and can accommodate any kind of event.
