She listened carefully to Megan's ideas and then elevated them several notches. The floral design was stunning: elegant compote centerpieces on the round tables, loose "sister" vases with greenery and scattered blooms along the long tables, dozens of bud vases, lanterns for extra atmosphere for the evening reception, and a beautiful focal arrangement that moved from the ceremony to the head table. My daughter's color palette (green and terracotta) could have been tricky, but Kim designed a custom mix of flowers that felt fresh, natural, and elegant. Kim and her team meticulously arranged every table and detail, and the room looked extraordinary. Megan's colorful garden-style bridal bouquet was absolutely gorgeous as well. My friend loved the flowers as well. I really like that they send you a copy of the delivery confirmation as well as a picture of the flowers. Great service all around! I received a floral arrangement for Mother's Day 2011 delivered by Kevin's Petal Cart Florist. I can say with certainty that my daughter would not have picked out the arrangement that was delivered nor would I. When you order by phone or online you need to be able to trust that what will delivered is going to be top quality. The arrangement delivered to me included a dozen or so large cream colored roses, stargazer lilies, greens and some small innocuous aster type flowers. Had Kevin's Petal cart filled the order with FRESH UNBRUISED flowers all would have been well. Instead what was delivered included bruised lilies with brown edges, roses with a less than fresh appearance. This was not an inexpensive arrangement and as such I wanted to give Kevin's a chance to remedy the situation. I first emailed Kevin's to notify them of the problem along with photos of the arrangement. I waited a week for a reply but got none. Next I called Kevin's Petal Cart Florist to let them know what they delivered was not acceptable. I was told that when a florist fills an order from an outside source that they only receive part of the total- like that justified delivering bruised flowers. The man I spoke to told me he would look for the email I sent and call me right back. He never called back, subsequent messages left by me on his answering machine also went unanswered. My daughter will not be using Kevin's Petal Cart Florist again. I will never use them between poor quality flowers and terrible customer service I've seen enough. I wish I could post an accompanying photo as seeing is believing.
