Car Detailing Recommendation…read more I would like to share a recommendation with anyone thinking of any type of car detailing work. We recently made two long scratches on both sides of our car by driving through shrubs on a narrow dirt road. They were mainly noticeable in the sunlight, so they were not terrible, but still needed fixing. This made it more challenging to fix. We took it to Silverdale Detailing where Larry Harrell did a super nice job cleaning up some car seats from my husband's 1981 Landcuiser he is restoring. We dropped the car off in the morning, and when we picked it up mid-afternoon, we were amazed and couldn't be more impressed with Larry's work! Not only were the scratches completely gone, other marks I thought were permanent were also gone and the entire car looked like new, inside and out!! My car is 11 years old, but really looks brand new now! Every part of the car sparkles, including the tires, wheels... everything! To top it off, the cost was really so reasonable. We could not be more pleased!

I paid for the highest interior and exterior detail plus an extra $100 for it being a truck…read more Quality was good on the interior (can't tell if seats were cleaned thoroughly until they dry fully...pretty saturated), but severely lacking on the exterior. Mud on the step rails and mud flaps, pollen and gummy dirt still all on the bed cover. Windows not wiped down and have water spots still all over. Windshield is the same way plus gummy dirt and pollen in the corners. The roof wasn't touched...at all. The guys popped up and wiped it down and there was dirt and pollen covering the rags. Dead bugs still on the front bumper. Just no attention to detail on the exterior. Basic wash, ok...i expect a few things to be missed. I would say that is ok but this was not the basic wash. Supposedly the entire truck was hand washed (no just cannon sprayed) and clay bared. There would be no dead bugs on it had they actually done that. To top it off they didn't dress anything. No rim polish or cleaner. No tire dressing. No rubber or black protectant. All just basic. All weather mats are sitting in our driveway full of water still. Just no attention to detailing the exterior. I wouldn't recommend them for an exterior detailing , but interior is good. Guys who came out were nice though! Wish I could recommend them and I REALLY wish I found a reliable mobile detailing company in them.

They did an amazing job doing a complete ground up restore on the paint and trim for my Camaro. So it doesn't surprise anybody that the minute I had a car accident on my 2018 Honda pilot that I called them up sure enough they fixed everything timely and cost effectively and kept me updated along the way. There was a little problem afterwards they told me to bring it on in and check it. It might've had nothing to do with the car accident but they were kind enough to quickly fix it just in case, it might've been with a trim section, I can't tell you how happy I am with their service. I refer everybody I know to them.

I walk in and tell them that I want a complete interior,exterior and under the hood detailing. I have a 2026 Silverado ZR2 with 2000 miles on it. I used it to go snowmobiling in the mountains so it had road deicer and yellow pollen everywhere. The lady at the counter said "no problem we can do that. She never said anything else. She gave me a iPod with nothing on it but a place to sign to authorize the work. I was impressed with the guy working in the first stall which was on the other side of a glass wall. I told her that I was tired of taking my vehicles back to my old detailer two or more times to get what they missed the first time. I picked my truck up and she really emphasized the wheels, tires and wheel wells. I noticed that my factory side steps still had sporadic sand still on them. She said that due to the ruff surface that sometimes that won't completely come off. The truck looked good so I signed a blank iPad with signature spot showing only. After that I paid and got a receipt. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the terrible job under my hood. I opened my tailgate and nothing in the bed or 3piece tailgate had been touched. I called and left a message with my concerns. I was contacted before 8am the next by a gentleman. He said they don't do inside the box. WTF? Nothing was ever said about that! That made me go over my truck with a fine tooth comb. The only shampooing done on my carpet was the drivers floorboard around the factory clear plastic protector under the floor mat. Nowhere else. Ver evident because that was the only spot damp. Their website advertised supercar meetups once a month etc. That may be the case. It is GigHarbor. They seem to have the old guy behind the glass as a marketing tool. It worked on me. I didn't even notice the group of guy standing around 4 bays down. They are really who does the work or attempts to. The owner on his call did say to bring it back and he would see what he could do. I didn't because I didn't want to waste half a day screwing around so I didn't go back. He said he would do better the next time I have them detail it. Do they drug test the owners?. I pressure washed my side steps,under my hood and in the box myself. Over $500 for crap work. I think that's to cover that Gig Harbor overhead not the quality of their work. My windshield was destroyed a couple weeks ago, leaving little bits of broken glass hiding everywhere in the interior, but Chip was so thorough that I know I have nothing to worry about now. He was also very nice and so easy to talk to--especially with how few people I see in person these days, I really appreciated that. His rate was also very reasonable by my standards, especially since I didn't have to bring my car anywhere and wait for it to be done, I got to stay in the comfort of my own home. I brought my new car in. The shop is easy to find--it faces the freeway--but I got a little lost when I dropped off my car. William and the team were easy to talk to. They finished the job quickly. My car looks shiny now. People gave me compliments. I'm not sure if it's because of the ceramic coating, because it's new, or just freshly washed. But I'm happy with how it looks. I will write another review after one year to show how the coating holds up. For now, I'm satisfied with the service.
