What can't you buy here is the question... A member of our party described it as the Alton Towers of shopping. The amount of eating establishments here is certainly reminiscent of a theme park. The kiddie rides outside are very dated. I've no idea how much they cost. A bizarre amount of wild fowl on the premises too. The whole place is mad. Worth a look if you are passing it's door.

So much in one little shop…read more I popped in this morning just as they were opening (9am) and the two people working inside were so cheerful! I have never met a friendly saturday morning worker in my life, it was great to be met with a big beaming smile. Even though I couldn't find what I was after (some self adhesive wall hooks, stron enough to hold a coat - any ideas anyone?) I had a great experience in this 'find pretty much anything you are after' store! From pet accessories to allen key sets and wierd and wonderfull collection of goods.

On the contrary it's one of those magical shops that has whatever it is you're looking for. I go in for incense, they have it. I go in for a present for my niece, they have it. What you're getting here is redundant stock and nearly out of date food at cheap prices. Admittedly there are some cheap, low quality products in there but pick and choose what you buy. Quite a lot of the food is heavily discounted compared to supermarkets which is great, the only problem is that the next time you go back they might not have the same product. Generally this doesn't bother me, for example they've always got discounted crisps but not necessarily the same brand. I have once experienced a product being poor because it was close to its sell by date but I've saved so much over other products its not a worry. The shop has loads of selection and such a wide range of products that whenever we need something at home I pop in to Buyology to see if they've got it. I haven't had much experience dealing with the staff but the one time I did ask if they had any more stock of an item a gentleman checked their delivery that had just arrived and got me another one - he did say it was rare being able to get it that easy off the delivery but half the thing for me is that he actually made the effort to go and look.

When it was Hyper Value it seemed rather empty and low on stock. Now its a Buyology Store its packed with goods (many of them still in cardboard boxes) and it takes a while to walk around the whole store. The stock is typical of most discounts stores and prices are low as you would expect. I think these shops can be useful for buying little things that you don't want to spend too much on and I usually buy things like candles, stationery or pens from Buyology. This shop has a large stock of children's books and games but not of them looks worth buying! I recently bought a cheap dictionary and a thesaurus from Buyology, which was a mistake as they have hardly any words in them! The dictionary doesn't even include Aardvark!

Angel Place seemed pretty modern back in the 80's and it hasn't really been updated since then the flags and signs outside are faded and the plants outside are usually dead looking! The centre is on 2 levels with glass lifts up to the toilets and car parks. Shops in Angel place include Iceland, Wilkinson's, Adams, Superdrug, a Card Warehouse. If you have the patience to do that, then you might find something good in amongst all the designer tat! The Exeter store is quite large, and spread out over 2 floors. There are a huge number of trousers, tops, shirts, skirts, kids clothes, bags, books etc to wade through, but you might just find a couple of bits worth buying! There is a large free carpark at the Exebridges Centre, so you can take your time in the store.

I love the fact that you never know what you might find and when you do find something its quite special at a discount price. The shop is easy to move around, easily accessible and also contains house hold items, although i have never found anything particularly interesting. The staff are helpful if you want to try and find something in particular.

I was told today to wait "72 working hours" for reply from their third-party merchant. And that I'd need to pay £4 more plus postage to return the item.

New Look specialises in cheap fashion orientated clothing which may not be of the highest quality. They have specific collections for Teenagers, Tall, and Larger Sizes, as well as a range of underwear, footwear and accessories. In my opinion, New Look are best for jeans, which at £10-£20, are often better quality and a better fir that many more expensive brands. They offer various fits which are clearly colour coded by label, so that once you've found the fit that suits you best you can easily recognise similar styles.

Especially when I go into shops that stock gardening equipment. I'm a recent convert to the delights (and frustrations) of gardening, and so there always seems to be ever more equipment that I can buy to make my life easier. (If only they would produce some sheers or pruning sheers that automatically killed nettles and brambles at the root, then my life would be a lot easier!!!) A - Z Family Discounts don't do a huge amount in the gardening department, but I still found myself buying a couple of things that I needed. A - Z Family Discounts is run by a really lovely couple that will help you navigate the shelves if you get a little lost. It's not that their shop is so vast that it's impossible to find things, it's just that they carry such a diverse range of stock that things are not always easy to find. It's a case of there being a bit of this and a bit of that, and so it's difficult for consistency to be achieved in the layout in certain areas of the shop. They stock a good range of cleaning equipment and household items as well as a variety of tools, fancy goods, gifts and toys as well as the gardening range.
