There is street parking with some lots nearby. There's also a public restroom across the street, but nothing in the store itself. This place is worth a stop if you enjoy locally made art!

There's jewelry, wall art, garden items, and so on. A ring caught my eye because it was iolite and that's my favorite gemstone, but unfortunately (or maybe luckily) it was too small for my finger so I skipped it. If I'd been able to get it back to Chicago, I may have purchased one of the beautiful wooden wall hangings they had for sale. They have some nice artwork and souvenirs here, and if you're looking for a souvenir from the coast that doesn't scream tacky souvenir, this may be a place you'll find it.

I didn't feel any pressure when I went in to purchase, and the woman was happy to get anything out of the case that I was interested in. She had sample work up on the walls and was carefully preparing a piece when I walked in, and there's a good selection of frames from which to select. I would happily visit here instead of a chain like Michaels to have expert framing done on important items. She said that shadow boxes are a common item that she does, which I hadn't thought about but would be really neat for things like ticket stubs and the like. It's 2020, and small businesses are struggling. This is one worthy of patronage. We made a quick selection but the owner was still tied up. We indicated what we wanted and that we would run an errand and come back in about an hour at which time she could give us a price for what we picked out. While I was there I spotted a cute and quirky print on the wall with a fun yellow frame. I indicated that I wanted to purchase this and took it off the wall. When we came back an hour later, the owner (Moira), had a price for us for a frame, a mat, and glass for the print. It was less than 100.00! Also, the print that I saw on the wall did not have a finished back, and in the hour when we were running errands, she removed the velcro that was used to hang it in the shop and put a proper paper back and a wire to hang it on with little corner pad protectors...without my asking and without charging me extra. Super nice! I live in Portland but have family in Florence and I will consider bringing my art down to this shop when I visit to have it framed down here! Also, her chip reader would not work with my card so she took my number down and said she would figure out how to run it manually in a day or so. I did not feel at all nervous about leaving her my card information and she charged it accurately and destroyed the number. Trusted merchant!

They reassured parents that children were welcome to hold pieces, touch them and get to know them in order to understand what they wanted to take home. I was curious what they kept in their glass shelves and was not disappointed by the selection of Lemurian quartz clusters from Colombia and delicate shells and carvings by local artists.
