No one should be embarrassed by the procedure, there is almost total privacy. Clients wear special shorts for the treatment; these shorts have an opening secured by velcro which provide discreet access for inserting the speculum. If there is anything to complain about, it would be the small rooms at the Fir Street location (barely enough space for the bed and the equipment) and the lack of a proper waiting room. The goal in my mind when I went there was to eventually feel comfortable going without makeup on any given day - mission accomplished! During facials they inquire as to what you use on your skin and appear to try to work with what you've got but suggest a few small changes. I've also tried their laser hair removal and highly recommend it, minimally painful and again, professional and thorough.
