Would highly recommend Alisa to anyone new to extensions! As a first timer, I was looking to add length and volume to my hair, and Ktips seemed like the best option for fine/thin hair. Alisa had the perfect shade match for me so we didn't have to change my natural hair at all. The process was easy and started with a consult to align expectations and then the actual appointment. It took around 3 hours to complete and will last 3-4 months. It's definitely pricey but so worth it and I absolutely love it! I've gotten so many compliments on how natural it looks. read more

I was struggling to find someone in San Diego who does keratin bonded hair extensions when i moved here, and thank goodness I found Alisa! I've been going to her for 2.5 years now, and she is truly the best. My extensions are always beautifully installed, perfectly blended, and stay well-maintained. She also gives me great recommendations since my hair is so thin. She recommended I try hand-tied extensions for something new, and I know she'll do an amazing job, just like always. She takes the time to figure out what's best for me in terms of method and color, even when i'm being indecisive thank you Alisa!!! read more

If I could give Alisa a 10000-star review, I would. She's really THAT good, trust me. I'd been toying with the idea of getting k-tips hair extensions for the first time and I had no idea what to expect. Alisa spent time and walked me through the entire process during our initial consultation, which made me feel so excited about my appointment. And let me tell ya, she did not let me down. Alisa went above and beyond-- my hair feels and looks incredible! My extensions feel so natural and beautiful-- her attention to detail is fantastic. If I could give Alisa 10/5 stars, I would! My hair is thin at the crown which makes extensions especially difficult. My tape in extensions are seriously invisible. Alisa knew exactly which colors I needed for extensions and how much I needed. She blended 3 or 4 different colors together to make it match perfectly. I genuinely have no idea how she placed them so well it looks like my real hair. The thickness is distributed beautifully too! Not to mention she cut my bangs and fixed some messed up layers and made it absolutely seamless. So impressed, new loyal customer! read more

I found Alisa Pose online after running an extensive google search for an expert in great lengths hair extensions. I didn't know her and didn't know anyone who had already gotten their extensions done with her, but by reading all the reviews and looking at all the "before and after" pictures of her work, I had no doubt she was the one I had to go to. I contacted her through text message which she replied to on the same day in great time and we scheduled a meet and greet/color matching appointment. Alisa is wonderful! She is great at what she does, she is sweet and very nice and I couldn't be happier with my hair!!! It looks like a million bucks!!! By the way, the hair quality is unquestionably excellent! Silky, shiny, wonderful!!!! The hair salon she works at is at a great location, very easy access, plenty of parking spaces too!!! A+ service!!!! Don't look anywhere else, call Alisa!! read more

Alisa is beyond AMAZING. I have gone to my fair share of hairstylists and none can compare to the work she has done. She takes her time to make sure everything is exactly how i want it. A while back I cut my hair short and ended up regretting that decision, after a few months of getting my hair done by Alisa I finally made the commitment to get extensions and let me tell you I am beyond happy with that decision, I haven't felt this confident in so long and my hair looks so natural. I have never recommended another hairstylist as much as I have her. My hair always looks fantastic not to mention she's so a joy to hangout with. :) read more

Alisa you rock! I love this lady, I have been addicted since my sister got extensions a few years ago. I followed her from the Hilton to this more laid back place by El Cortez. I have never been disappointed here, Alisa is amazing I keep going back and she makes it all better. I highly recommend her for a hair cut and highlights. A huge plus is that her sister is just as talented with waxing and facials and can usually get you in while you are getting your hair done. Sara is great and so sweet. Ladies you won't be disappointed here. The only reason they can't have 5 stars is that they don't have Mr. Belvedere... Holla sistas! read more

I couldn't be more pleased with my extensions from Alisa!! I have extremely thin and fine hair. Alisa has taken such care with the application and maintenance for my extensions in order to keep my own hair as healthy as possible. Alisa is awesome!! I needed some last minute help with my extensions, and advice on switching from tapes to keratin bonds. She was very accommodating to my crazy schedule, and did an awesome job color matching and creating exactly the look I was going for. The extensions themselves look completely natural, are light and comfortable, and Alisa was a pleasure to have as my stylist. The process isn't a fast one, but the time flew by. Great conversation, and professional, high quality work. Go see Alisa for your extension needs!! You won't be disappointed! read more

Alisa Pose - Absolutely LOVE my extensions! And Alisa did an amazing job with the application. They look completely natural! - Hair Extensions Near Me - San Diego, California

I needed a consultation for my hair and advice as to what to do with my hair. I read Alisa Pose's yelp reviews and since they were all positive, I took a chance and made a consultation appt. I was impressed with her expertise in color and extensions. I proceeded to make an appt. and two weeks later I followed her advice on how to correct my color and what line of extensions to try. I must say, she really knows what she is talking about. She listens! Finally, I found someone who is knowledgeable on color correction and her advice on my extensions was perfect. I left her salon very pleased. Not to mention, Alisa is a very pleasant person to work with. She is patient, attentive and returns calls and texts immediately. I was in a pinch and needed to get my hair done very soon. I asked my friend Lisa who did her hair because it always looks so amazing and the color was always the perfect blonde just the way I wanted it so she referred me to Alisa Pose. I gave her a call and she made it possible for me to get in right away that day for a color and cut. Her salon is beautiful and in the heart of the gaslamp district. I was pleasantly surprised by all the little details that were attended to I even got a glass of wine! She worked her magic on my hair and when it was done I had exactly what I wanted gorgeous hair with a great cut the color made it look perfect and so healthy and shiny. The salon atmosphere is very serene and calm and they have other services that I want to try to like facials and massage. I LOVE my extensions!!!! Thanks to Alisa!!! I've tried different methods and different types of hair but this is by far the best hair I ever had. I got Indian hair and Alisa cut it so perfectly that i can't tell where my hair ends and the extensions begin. We decided not to cut at first application but after about 2 weeks with it I went back to Alisa and she agreed we should cut it in layers. She made me very happy at no extra charge. She said is good to "play" with the extensions at first before making a decision to cut it. Alisa knows what she is doing and I drive from Tijuana, Mexico to see her in San Diego every 6 weeks. Love my hair!!! Thanks Alisa read more

Alisa is great with extensions I worked with her for the past four years she does a great job!

This is the second time Alisa has done my extensions!! She's honestly the best in SD! I had some damage to my hair from my last hair dresser at Revive salon and my hair thinned out a lot. So I called Alisa to "save the day"! With her advise she recommended products that will help my hair heal back to "healthy again". But in the meantime I got extensions. Again I can't tell you how much I love having long hair again! Do yourself a favor and go see Alisa for ANY of your hair needs! Her high lights and cuts are also great!!! Her location is great and plenty of parking. Tell her Wendy sent you! read more

I've been getting my extensions for over 4 years now, it looks so natural and full. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I get on my hair-daily! A friend of mine introduced me to Alisa after she got extensions and she knew that I was desperate to make my hair look thicker. Alisa has made my hair look so much better. It wasn't easy for her because I have extremely thin and fine hair but she has managed to add extensions to my hair and she is very good with color, also. She has helped me learn how to work with my hair and what products to use and how. I hope she never moves away! read more

A while ago, when I first moved to SD, I saw all the beautiful blondes running around and thought, hey, maybe I can be blonde too! Well, after YEARS of dying my hair black, all of the stylists that I spoke to said to do it correctly, it would take about a year to be blonde. I said, "huh-uh! I'll do it then... So, a month later, I was platinum blonde, and my hair was FRIED beyond belief and falling out and breaking off. I immediately went to C13 on a friends recommendation and asked for help in desperation! They shreiked when looking at my hair. I felt like a freak, but with a LOT of money, and a lot of time, I walked out of there looking normal again. They said my hair was SO damaged and stripped of nutrients, it would barely hold any color. I got 2 treatments on my hair, and also a toner to darken it and weigh it down... Needless to say, I will never go blonde again.. I enjoy my black hair, and enjoy being unique. This salon helped me out for a dig in the pocket, but... I did look human again after the whole experience! read more

I have seen Alisa twice now and my hair was in a sad state with extensions that a previous hairdresser put in incorrectly. Alisha took the time to remove those and put on new perfectly color matched hair and I went out feeling wonderful with hair that actually flowed and blended in with my own hair. It took my previous hairdresser almost 2 1/2 hrs to place 6 extensions and it took Alisa about 1 hr. to put in about 10 extensions. My extensions feel so natural and you can't even tell they are there. After my previous experience I was really fearful to go to a new hairdresser so I looked on yelp for reviews and the thing that really stood out to me was that Alisa has longtime clients that have been with her for years and they still come to her and are happy with her knowledge, expertise and friendly demeanor. I am so thankful I found her. Sharon A 11/29/17 read more

First I have to start off by saying Alisa is amazing!!! I had just recently cut all my hair off into a bob style and of course was missing my long hair. So I started looking into extensions and came across Alisa. I read the reviews and saw pictures of previous work she had done and really liked what I had read and seen. I contacted Alisa and she got back to me the same day and got me in for a free consultation the very next day. When I went in for my consult she listened to all my concerns and what it was that I wanted and then proceeded to give me options according to what I had told her. We talked color and length and what would look good and work best. Not once did she try to push anything I wasn't comfortable with. I love that she listened to what I had to say. We scheduled a day for me to return to get my hair colored and my new extensions. The day of my appointment I left her chair feeling phenomenal! The quality of hair products and tape in extensions she uses is top notch. Alisa has a great professional attitude and is very personable. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and I left with no doubts that I had made the best decision of going to her for my hair care needs. Its been a week since I got my hair done and I am still in awe of the work she has done with my hair. I highly recommend Alisa if you are looking for a new hair stylist. She is just AMAZING!!!!!!! I recently relocated to San Diego and one of my biggest fears was finding someone who could do my extensions as well as my previous stylist in Kansas City. After 2 failed attempts with another stylist, I came across Alisa after researching the internet. She is FANTASTIC!! I had been previously using great lengths extensions but after consulting with her I decided to try the tape ins. Not only did she nail the color, but the hair is gorgeous! She also nailed the color on my natural hair so it blends so well! On top of all of this, Alisa is professional but very personable. Easy to communicate with and very responsive! I moved here from Salt Lake City (far away from my regular stylist) in August. I During the time I've been here I went to a couple of salons but couldn't really find anyone that stood out. Last week I decided that I would try to dye my own hair. I bought a $7 highlighting kit and went to town. Needless to say, it ended up BAD! I immediately started searching for nearby salons so that I could get it fixed before I had to work the next day. I walked into C13 and Emilie Proctor was at the reception desk. She took my information and tried to find a stylist that could help me that night but they were all booked. She offered to come in the next morning (even though she was flying somewhere later that day) to help fix me up. Needless to say that she fixed my hair and made it look exactly how I wanted it and she also cut it perfectly. I was so completely happy with the result! I have found my San Diego stylist and I would highly recommend her. read more
