My brother and I ate here on Aug. 6th, it was my first time. I can't say enough good things about the meal we had. We both ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it was soooo delicious! The focaccia bread that came with it was the best! I couldn't believe the large portion that was served you surely don't see that at other restaurants these days! I can't wait to go back there and hopefully take my family. The only complaint I have if you wanna call it that it's really no big deal is that you have to go up to the counter to order and you have to get your own drinks and refills. My family and I frequent this restaurant, which to means a lot to my family and I. If I go to any restaurant, if it is very busy, the service could be a little slow, I can over look that. As long there is enough room to be comfortable while eating that's fine. I sit still or stay if I see creepy crawlers roaming around. I was there today for lunch, despite my previous review I have to update here and state that this restaurant has a serious cleanliness issue. I was there months ago and alerted the staff that they had cockroaches crawling on the walls. Thought we would give them a second chance, months later and today I actually found a dead cockroach in my salad. I LOVE THIS SPOT! They have the best veggie rolls and their breaded mushrooms are awesome! Most fried mushrooms tend to have a thick, bland batter but THIS batter is so light, crunchy and flavorful! Me and my two mexican friends went to eat at Alis Pizzaria after school on friday, we ordered before 2 groups of people and we got our pizza wayyyy after them. When we noticed this business was about to open up in our neighborhood we were very excited! But that quickly disappeared once we brought our food home. My better half ordered the Italian Sub & I got the Turkey & Provolone Sub. Hers was so bad she didn't even finish eating it, actually barely ate the sub. And mine was just as disappointing! Both were very bland as if the meats were not the freshest maybe frozen but either way lacking taste. Subway subs taste better! We absolutely love Florios pizzas and subs and Ali's subs aren't even in the same league. Even Firehouse subs are much much better! Sad to say we probably won't be trying out their pizzas! Terrible customer service. I ordered a cheesesteak Stromboli that had almost no meat in it. I called and spoke to the store manager who insisted that I send her a picture of my food to prove what I was saying. She agreed to replace the order but also insisted that I pay $1.50 difference. When I questioned the decision, she said "this time I'll let you have it without paying, but next time you'll have to pay." Next time! Okay, so, customer service was good, environment was cute and clean, and me and my friends were super excited to eat here. But the food was not up to par, it looked good, but the flavor wasn't there. We tried Ali's before looking at the reviews. Afterward, I was surprised by a fair about of them. We had a great experience. The pizza slices were pretty good, and the pepperoni rolls were excellent. I was happy with the size of our salad as well. The prices seemed a little high, but we also thought it was pretty good compared to a lot of other "by the slice" places. The woman at the register was very kind and patient will our questions and had great service throughout our visit even though it's counter order. I would definitely eat here again. read more

The crust had a delicious taste. The slight crunch when you bite was nice. My brother commented that the pizza could have been cooked a but longer, so the cheese has that slight brown tinge. And the Garbanzos on their salads is a nice touch instead of your typical boring side salad. I have also tried the veggie pizza with an assortment of vegetables that was quite tasty! They offer up to a giant size pizza that is big enough to feed a very large family. This is an economical, laid back place to eat fresh Italian food, but nothing fancy so don't expect it to be. Although some of the girls up front are not the friendliest at this location. They could use better customer service and smile once in a while, but I am rating the food that makes it all worth it in the end.
