He even went above and beyond when he returned the vehicle. It was a big job and it took some time. I am happy with his work and have recommended him to my friends.

We were lucky because we took the car to Sam's Club Tire Center, they were able to diagnose the problem but couldn't do the repair. They referred me to MAC Automotive. Aaron - the owner was wonderful. He understood we were trying to get back home safely & leave town that same morning. He sent one of his employees go pick up the part because that was faster than waiting for the auto parts delivery driver. It took only 30 minutes to get the part and then about 20 minutes to put them on. I was in and out of there in an hour and a half. And best part is I thought the bill was fair. If you need an auto shop in Midland this should be your no. 1 choice!!

They did not take advantage of my inexperience and only fixed what I asked them to fix. I also ordered a new set of tires from them which were promptly delivered. They also came to my office, picked up my car and drove it back to their shop, replaced the tires and changed the oil and brought it back to me at my office in a timely manner. I didn't have to miss work and ended up with a reliable ride at the end of the day. They have long hours, so when I went in the first time, they were there after most other places would have been closed. They will also take care of your fleet vehicles. Have both positive and negative feedback…read more Will start with the good: were able to diagnose truck same-day (pretty rare in Midland), repairs were completed in a timely fashion (once they had the parts), truck is running great, and they were very friendly (even gave me a ride when I dropped truck off). On the negative side: said they'd do a free oil change/tire rotation and didn't (prob because it was never on the ticket as it was no charge and forgot), seemed to be limited time spent after day 1 into finding the part I needed (actually found it myself and shipped it to them after waiting a few weeks with no progress), and replaced my battery without asking (was at 50k miles and likely needed it, but was a $500 surprise same day as pickup). All in all, I was in a bind and these guys got me answers quickly. Nice people and do good work, but think they need more staff or need to put more time into customer communication and part acquisition.

Later that afternoon, we were informed it would be an additional $180 just to check the code--on top of whatever the actual repair would cost. Hesitantly, we agreed. We got a call later saying our vehicle was ready. When we asked what the issue was, we were told it was just a "loose connection" and that they reset the check engine light. That's it. Fast forward two weeks--our car won't start. After doing some investigation, we discovered that the wrong size battery had been installed previously, which is what triggered the check engine light in the first place. So essentially, this shop charged us $180 to reset a light and completely missed the real issue. No real diagnostics were done. Save yourself the frustration. We took our car to Meineke on W Loop 250, where they properly diagnosed the issue without charging us $180 for doing absolutely nothing.

They diagnosed it, put it up on the raisers and showed her exactly where the issue was... it was a little costly on a fixed income but the work comes with 50,000 mile or 5 year warranty so she figured what does she have to lose.... Well she was more than happy with the customer service and her car was completed in a day! Most places here in Midland would have your car for 2 to 3 weeks MINIMUM! They said it would be done in a day and it was. She literally cannot say enough good things about Danny's Automotive, she says THANKS to Mark, Arthur and the girls! Customer for life!!!
