It didn't involve buying new tires because diagnosis of the problem with under inflation was unknown - it could've been a defective tire or tire with a nail in it. Also, the readings for tire gauge with it were different from the tire, pressure management system, signaling that perhaps one or the other might be faulty. I had these folks look into it. they figured out tge solutions in about 15 minutes. Can't say enough good things about this place or the staff and management. Discount tire doesn't usually charge customers for air checks and top offs. But if they help you out as they did me I suggest you leave this guys who did the work a cash tip. Discount tire will get my next tire business.

Got an alignment today, after alignment there was three warning lights on my dashboard…read more The store did not disclose that they cannot reprogram that computer on a Toyota. I called the store and complained ended up taking my truck to another shop to get realigned and the computer codes cleared. Turns out they didn't even align my truck completely correct. Paid for an alignment that meant nothing at Les Schwab waste of $125. Ended up paying for another alignment at another store that could clear my codes because the alignment sheet showed that Les Schwab didn't do jack shit to my truck as far as aligning it.

Traveling from NC to Missoula MT I began to have some concerns with the tires on my 2003 Ford E450…read morethat has been converted to a bus. The bus shook at 70 mph, and I was also concerned that my left front tire was only rated for 50 psi but inflated to 80 psi, presumably by Black's Tire in Wilmington NC who had just worked on the vehicle and supposedly checked all the tires for me. Cliff the mechanic is very knowledgeable and immediately determined the two front tires were significantly different (6 ply and 10 ply) and that the 6 ply tire should never have been inflated above 50 psi. Cliff not only found, mounted and balanced my left front tire but also balanced the right front too. Cliff also found that the nut securing my brand new shock (installed by Blacks) was so loose it came off with two twists of the wrist. Cliff checked all tire pressures which were all over the board, some 40 psi under (thanks Blacks). The work at this shop is A-1, and the bill was easy on the wallet. Prompt service all the way. Highly recommended! Needless to say I don't have a positive review for Black's Tire in Wilmington.

They explained every step of their inspection process and let us know the issues going on with our car in a very timely manner. Mike was extremely kind and understanding and did everything he could to help us out. I also really appreciated that when I asked for explanations of the purposes of the broken parts in the car, Mike explained them thoroughly without talking down to me, which I have often faced in auto shops.
