This place has saved my sanity! I was told by my primary to just loose weight after I complained about severe back pain and hip pain. I had delivered just a few months prior to that appointment. After loosing all the baby weight the pain got worse. I was recommended to Dr. Jaime and she has been my saving grace! Turned away at the door with a condescending attitude. I asked if they do walk ins, since their website and Yelp says they do. They quickly said "No, only appointments plus exams and smugly stated 'any chiropractor would tell you this'. We absolutely love Dr. Jamie and everyone at Aligned for Life Chiropractic. My son, now 4, and I have both been seeing Dr. Jamie for regular adjustments for almost two years and it's been wonderful. For me: When I went in for my first evaluation, x-rays showed that I no longer had any curvature in my neck at all - my spine was completely straight (which explained why it felt like I had been walking around with a broomstick poking into my head.) After consistent, regular adjustments I now have a textbook perfect spine, better posture and I haven't had a single cold since I started. I now go once a month for maintenance. For my son: My son has never been a good sleeper. He slept like a newborn for the first year of his life (up every 3-4 hours) and after that still consistently woke up during the night and awake for the day around 4:30am. He had multiple ear infections by his second birthday. He started his adjustments the same time as I did and now sleeps through the night, every night, and wakes at about 6:00am. He goes to preschool 5 days a week and never had a single cold this year (despite every other child in his class being out of school with everything from head colds, to stomach flus, and even bronchitis.) A few months ago he complained that his ear hurt and I took him in for an adjustment (we weren't scheduled for that day, but Dr. Jamie is so wonderful about being flexible for stuff like this). The next day he was perfectly fine and the ear issue resolved itself before it became an infection. I should also mention that he was nervous and cried the first three or four appointments he had. No problem, Dr. Jamie is a pro with kids. I held my son and she used a special, small pillow-like thing to do his adjustments. By the fifth appointment or so he was jumping up on the table himself and now he always wants to go first. He also is on a once per month maintenance schedule. Overall, we love it here. When I was growing up I thought it was normal to have constant lower back pain. The pain was constant and there was no comfortable way to sit or sleep! I was an avid reader and I drew a lot, hunched up on my bed. I continued on to art school where I took multiple studio classes, each involved sitting on a bench drawing, or standing at an easel for 3 hours at a time, each day for 4 years. I knew I needed to take care of myself. After school I found my hero! And she was right in my backyard. "She" is Dr. Jamie. I have been seeing her for 3 years and she has been amazing. I have never been to a chiropractor before and didn't even think I needed one because I seemed perfectly fine. I decided to give it a try because I suggested my son to come here after having a bad fall. He recovered so quickly after only a few visits that I decided to schedule my own just for the sake of "good health". Dr Jamie was so incredible and knowledgeable about her profession that I was a raving fan in no time. She was able to identify some potential danger points that would have cause me grief in my later years if not corrected, 1, due to a car accident 14 years ago and 2, due to carrying my second son constantly on my right hip. I am grateful to her prodding to get it done sooner rather than later because as I said I thought I was fine. Halfway through my process, I grew a half an inch taller and my posture was straighter. People even told me that I looked more confident so right there alone was money well spent. There are so many ways that coming to a chiropractor will change your life....for the better. I will stand corrected. Dr. Jamie has opened my mind to total chiropractic care. I lead a very active lifestyle, between operating a landscape service, and having many outdoor activities and hobbies. Over the last year or so, I started noticing a routine chain reaction of my many small bumps and bruises, which ultimately started to effect my level of productivity at work. I have also had a pretty rough shoulder injury, hit my head, twisted my ankle, and had a near fatal experience in a tree. It started to seem like I was existing in a cloud, I couldn't get into my flow as quickly or as easily as I could have only a few years ago. Since I have started seeing Dr. Jamie, it's feels like I'm coming back down to earth. I feel much more centered and am getting my spring back, it's really amazing actually, magical perhaps. Dr. Jamie is a lifesaver! I was skeptical of chiropractors, but decided to give it a try after hearing glowing recommendations from a trusted friend, and when my back started hurting and wouldn't stop. My pain went away after just a couple of visits, and even better than that, I was able to understand what had been going on with my body and start on a path toward correcting years of damage caused by bad computer posture and childhood misalignments. I'm not a doctor, but a anyone could see the clear difference between my x-rays and those of a healthy spine. My neck was almost totally straight, and even curved the wrong direction a little bit! Now, after 3 months of adjustments and the easy stretches and exercises Dr. Jamie give me to do at home, we've been able to start correcting my neck curve to where it's starting to curve the right way. There is still a ways to go, as it was pretty bad when we started, but I'm already feeling much better. I have more energy, wake up easier in the morning, and have a feeling of being taller and standing straighter, as if I've just come from a yoga class! I can tell my posture has improved too, when I look in the mirror or see myself in photos. I would (and often do!) recommend a chiropractic checkup to anyone, not just those with back pain. Being out of alignment can cause a wide range of problems, so it's worth getting checked out to see if your mystery ailments are actually caused by something simple. read more

I love Dr. Jamie! I started seeing her a after an amazing recommendation from my sister and I couldn't be happier. Not only is Dr. Jamie super caring and nice she is extremely smart and passionate about what she does. I've seen a few chiropractors off and on in years past and none of them took the time and attention Dr. Jamie does. I've learned about what causes pain in your spine, seen X-rays of my back and learn all about the awesome "side effects" of my adjustments. Seriously, they're beneficial for far more than just back pain- they charge your brain! When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with scoliosis. The curvature was so severe I needed surgery. I have had a harrington rod in my spine since 1978. So needless to say I have lived with back pain for a very long time. I just thought it was a way of life to wake up everyday with back and neck pain. I now have arthritis in my hips, neck and back. Several of my family members have been going to Dr. Jamie and have been singing her praises. But I thought my issues were beyond repair.
