Bob Cranny is a wonderful Physical Therapist as well as being a wonderful all around good guy…read more I first met him after trying many attempts at other modalities ie massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, cortisone shots etc. to cure my sciatica. Bob cured it! No one else could. Now I am back for rotator cuff pain. He assured me we are making slow but sure progress on my sore arm. I trust him. I highly recommend him. I hope you will get to know him and his professional staff and experience his expertise!

I've needed to take advantage of Altitude Physical Therapy four times since the Summer of 2016. The…read morefirst time was following a bike accident where I injured my shoulder and Chelsey Creedon helped me get full mobility back and I've been pain free since those visits. The next time was in 2017 when I was experiencing knee pain where I saw Chelsea again who diagnosed my problem as a torn meniscus but due to insurance requirements I needed several PT sessions and an MRI before I could have surgery. After the knee surgery Chelsea helped me regain full mobility in early 2018. Later in 2018 when I was trying to get back into running shape I suffered severe pain in my left calf and again Chelsey helped me get back to pain free running. The fourth time Chelsey helped me was with golfer's elbow that was a result of my doing pull ups for the first time in decades. In only a few sessions Chelsey helped relieve the pain and get full mobility back but I haven't gone back to the pull up bar yet. The Longmont front office workers were always extremely helpful with scheduling, insurance claims, and were very efficient.

I would strongly recommend Ability Physical Therapy. My daughter had knee surgery (TTO and MPFL…read morereconstruction) and has been working several months with Greg Clayton. He is friendly, professional and very experienced with added orthopedic background. We were looking for this expertise. We felt that Greg gave wonderful, encouraging care and maintained the treatment plan, making adjustments as needed. We felt assured and encouraged about progress and concerns throughout recovery. Greg was always willing to answer questions and had a great rapport with my daughter, keeping her motivated with great sessions. The facility is a basic PT open area, but I felt that it met my daughter's progressing ability. The office staff is friendly and the space always organized and clean. They have an online scheduling tool for appointments, reminders, waitlists and billing. It makes managing appointments very easy. They also take insurance. Additionally, my daughter referred me to Ability for dry needling. I worked mainly with Kelsey. She was friendly and professional, I enjoyed her enthusiasm. I feel that I benefitted from the treatment for my plantar fasciitis.

The PTs themselves are great, they explain exercises clearly and create engaging workouts. I've even recommended Ability to my Mom, and she's also had a great experience with noticeable improvement every week!

After cervical spine fusion surgery, PT of Boulder was recommended by my doctor. I was pleased by…read moretheir approach to healing through strengthening and improving flexibility and balance. I was shown exercises within my allowed weight and movement limits which progressed each week as I got stronger. It is not just massages and ice/heat therapy. I received dry needling when my muscles became chronically tight and wouldn't relax which was very helpful. Dry needling isn't painful, only slightly uncomfortable due to the very fine acupuncture needle hitting trigger points in the muscle. Once it hits that point, the muscle relaxes. It lasts for about two weeks or a month, too! The therapist determines whether the muscle(s) is a candidate for this treatment. It is up to the patient to do their exercises at home daily between appointments and they aren't too time consuming. The therapists are well trained and very helpful in developing your treatment regime, all the while checking your range of motion, strength and function as weeks go on. Robert was very pleasant and I felt safe in his care. Treatment rooms are private and clean.
