Walked in with plantar fasciitis, left with sever nerve damage.
I live in Louisville and my Doctor at rocky mountain foot and ankle in Longmont recommended this company for physical therapy for my plantar fasciitis back in February.
After driving there twice a week for a month, I started experiencing new symptoms on the outside edge of my left foot. I was always explaining to the staff that started to I feel numbness on my foot and what felt like 1000 needles poking it. They continued to work on my foot and I continued with the exercises they recommended not knowing any better.
At the end of my second month, still continuing to go twice a week, the numbness and pain progressively got worst on the outside edge of my foot, no longer on the inside heel of it. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor at rocky mountain again to find out whats going on. She advised me to stop going to PT and to see a neurologist.
I scheduled an appointment with Boulder Health, who performed an EMG. He found that the nerves in my foot were over strained from PT and the sever pain and discomfort I'm experiencing will continue for another 6-12 months before its finally able to heal. He suggested I take Magnesium. I was completely unaware that this will make me have the shits EVERYDAY. So I had to deal with not only sever pain in my foot but now this. My doctor then suggested vitamin B complex and my neurologist prescribed me Gabapentin every night before bed, which I've been taking for the last four months. This made me feel groggy every morning.
This company has no idea of the pain and discomfort I had to deal with. I wasn't able to walk on some days. I wouldn't even go more then a mile on others before the pain overtook my ability to walk. I should've taken my friends advice, whos a PIA, and sue them! Its unfair that I went in for a simple foot pain and leave with 7 months of foot pain! Not having the ability to walk, run, or exercise is completely unfair. Im just now getting feeling in my foot and why I waited to write this review.
Crafted Physical Therapy lacks experience and hire new kids out of college. The moment I started experiencing new symptoms, they should've pumped the brakes and said, wait a minute, lets contact someone with more experience to find out whats going on. They dint. The continued to over strain my foot and they dont even care. Not once did they reach out and say, hey, is everything ok, why did you suddenly stop coming to us.
I will never go back to this place EVER and my friends, co-workers, and anyone I hear talk about PT, I now tell them to stay far away from you guys. Seriously, You guys fing suck for putting me through this and wasting 7 months of my life for my foot to finally begin to heal.
Stay far way from this place and if you start to experience the same symptoms, don't trust them with your health. read more
