The Cincinnati real estate market is pretty challenging right now and Amy has adjusted her processes to give buyers the best chance at winning a home with limited inventory on the market. Not only is she an expert in the Cincinnati real estate market having lived and worked in the area for a number of years, but she has built an excellent reputation with realtors here as well. Case in point, due to her excellent advice and relationships, we were able to make a winning bid on a home in a multiple offer situation even though we weren't the highest bidder. Amy has an excellent support team, from loan specialists, inspectors, and title agency. Everyone we have dealt with has been super communicative, eager to answer questions and all working together to support a quick closing that the seller was working for. I would have no hesitation referring Amy to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Cincinnati area. Amy is the BEST!

Amy helped us sell my Mom's home while we were managing everything remotely, and we couldn't be more grateful. From day one, Amy was communicative, organized, and proactive. Amy handled every detail--from coordinating removing items, cleaning and anything else that came up to managing showings and paperwork--with efficiency and care. We always felt like the home was in great hands, even though we were hundreds of miles away. Thanks to Amy's deep knowledge of the local market and expert guidance, we received multiple strong offers and were able to close quickly and smoothly. What could have been a complicated, stressful experience turned out to be seamless. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to their clients, I highly recommend Amy. Amy went above and beyond in every way.

We almost had to get attorneys involved at the closing, but Aaron was able to quell the situation entirely and get us to the finish line smoothly and successfully. If it weren't for him, I honestly don't know if we would have closed. Thank you, Aaron! You were truly a lifesaver!

Her top-notch support was invaluable as we went from making an offer, to negotiating, to being under contract and navigating inspection, to closing, and even after closing. A very focused individual that generally does as much as possible to fulfill a client's needs -…read morewhen possible. A few issues that can impede the experience though: First off, her verbal English is so fractured (a STRONG German accent that leaves you reeling), you are left many times, trying to decipher what is said. Secondly, after approximately 5 days of consistent communication, I hear nothing back after I sent a list of homes I picked that I wanted to tour. After many hours of no response, I call and ask about touring homes, because I wanted to buy one before they disappear. She replies she sent me a verification message (NOT, there was no message) and then, she states she has a baby to care for. OK, that's nice - but that has nothing to do with my mission of purchasing a home. Why didn't she just state that upon the onset days prior - instead of wasting my time? I don't know... Another issue is she only knows the "Hyde Park" area of Cincinnati. Great if you want to live in Hyde Park! But, Cincinnati is a huge metropolis of close to 300,000 people and there is much more to Cincinnati than the small fraction known as Hyde Park. Apparently, I think, she is a "part-time" real estate agent in a sheltered "park-world" that does this as a hobby or a sideline to aid in her life when it's convenient for her in between changing diapers and motherhood. Again, great for her and other mother's regarding this same occupation. However, I need a house and an agent that is there for the money: Realize, they get upwards to 7% of the sale! She tried and gets an A for effort. I instead, found another Sibcy Cline agent that knows more about the entire Cincinnati realm and speaks very good English as well.

In both cases Annette was super responsive to our needs and always very thorough in the materials she sent us (which sometimes were when she or we were traveling!). She gave good advice, and respected our boundaries on price. We liked her personality and being out-of-towners (overseas citizens) ourselves we appreciated her global/international outlook. Mark helpfully answered any and all questions I had regarding the buying process and experience and helped explain things to me that were completely foreign to me before looking into my first home. I had heard many negative things about real estate agents in general being pushy and just wanting to get their commissions, but let me tell you that Mark was the exact opposite of this. I am not exaggerating when I say that Mr. Smith looked at 30+ homes with me, and was always happy to do so. Mark will make it his mission to make sure that you find the home of your dreams in your price range. He did not push any houses onto me and always let me make the decisions on my own, offering his opinions on certain matters when asked. He was always informed and had up to date information on all the homes we looked at. Over the course of the several months that I looked at homes with Mark, he was always readily available and a great communicator. When I wanted to make an offer on a house, he did so promptly and had good recommendations on what offers were good and what wasn't, as I had no idea what I was doing. On the rare occasion that Mark was unavailable when I found a home I wanted to look at, he promptly set me up with someone else in his agency to take care of me for that day. This only happened one time in the 30+ homes I looked at. All in all, if you are looking to buy a home, I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Smith to guide you through this process. Not only is Mark an informed and skilled realtor, he is a great person and a fun individual to hang out with while going through this process. Buying a house is not a decision you want to rush into, and could take some time. Mark provides top of the line service, and is an enjoyable person to spend the time with while searching for your new home.
