Three years ago, she told me I would flunk out of my dream school. I am going into my senior year, at my dream school, have been on the deans list every semester, an honors student, and, in fact, I am a triple major. She told me I would flunk out. Clearly... she was wrong. I stopped using her only two weeks after I started because she was so pessimistic and awful that I would leave crying. Again, she was obviously very wrong as I am excelling exceptionally without her or her input. I highly highly highly recommend you find a counselor ANYWHERE ELSE that will realistically support your child, and not make them feel like a failure when that's that's all she did and that's OBVIOUSLY NOT THE CASE. She ruined the process and made it seem a lot more impossible and daunting than it is. She is the laughing joke in our family as clearly she could've done this to so many students and ruined the dreams and lives of so many just because she thinks she knows it all.
