Also a bit annoyed that the community management team does not follow basic privacy policies. The entire move in process into the community was a bit of a shit show with the sales director giving us the wrong move-in date and the room not being ready on the agreed upon day. My client lost her keys and went to the front desk to ask to be let into her room and the front desk rudely lectured her about how she shouldn't loose her keys! Ummm, this is assisted living, people live here because they need help. She literally argued about calling a Med tech or care giver to let her into the room. Very basic things seem to be out of grasp for this community! Terrible service from management at every interaction. Would not recommend!

During my search, I have realized that most of the agencies have dealt with difficult situations from their own pasts, which seems to create a certain familiarity.. I know it will be challenging trying to find the right agency, and finding the right caregiver that will want to help us out on the weekends.. Instead, Trent had the call forwarded to his cell phone and he picked it up even though he was at a little league game. He talked to me for a few minutes and said he would have Jo Ann call me to arrange further details. After I hung up with Trent, Jo Ann called me within minutes. Since that initial phone call, I relied heavily on their services to take care of my dad. Everything from spending a few hours running errands and socializing with him to handling transportation to routine doctor appointments. Trent truly meets his mission of ensuring his customers are treated as if they were his own grandparents. On several occasions, when he did not have enough staff, he would show up and take care of my dad's needs himself. You have to respect and admire the kind of business owner that is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work when needed. My dad, unfortunately, passed away in September 2018, and it was a rough year with heart surgeries, etc. Allister HomeCare really took huge amount of the burden of the day-to-day off of me and allowed me to focus on spending quality time with my dad. There is an enormous amount of dry rot on the outside of the building and the interior is very old and dingy. The carpet in hallways is very old, the paint inside is very old and patchy. It is obvious that items repaired are not done professionally. The unit we looked at was supposed to be fully remodeled. When we entered the first thing I noticed was the carpet was new but lumpy every where. It looked like it had been cut and laid down by someone that did not know what they were doing. It did not even extend under the baseboard. I was very disappointed not say the least.

Due to nature of patient's concerns, HIPPA, and other liability issues, this rating is actually a "O". Upon calling the "owner" of this franchise location to advise of concerns as to services not being performed as directed by surgeon, patient has not received the quality or continuity of care from Interim HH from the Gold River location. It was nothing but problems from day 1 when the Admin PT Justin came to my home. Instead of taking a seat as asked to complete forms and I go get my sons meds to bring him; Justin followed me and was looking over my drawer I opened asking me to hand him the bottles right there so he can document in paperwork the meds. To resistance to schedule the next visit with the PT help is what they refer them as. Telling me to call the office. When I do he's out front of my home calling them himself. The establishment will not schedule appointments normally. They basically call the client the night before a day they plan to come with a time given the night before. I had to advocate to get a routine day of week and time for my son since I manage his care and I have a work schedule. They promise me a set schedule assign a new PT helper. It was confirmed. Appt set. The day prior I confirmed with this Dennis. The day of this Dennis flakes on the time. He told me he would come later when it was clarified to him prior I have another appt for my son 2 hours later and we had already confirmed a time. He was rude in text communication about this. Stating to me "I too work on a schedule and work hard to keep that to respect all of the patients time. Will do my best to get there". I cancelled the service. I reached out to VP Kathy who said she would take care of discussing and notifying the locations owner and would contact me back with a final outcome even though I cancelled any future services with them. To date she claims she can't reach the owner and then tells me to call the owner myself. See most recent communication attached. Kaiser should think twice about contracting with this awful place. To top it off this guy Justin wasn't respecting the fact my son has special needs and kept rambling off instruction and talking really fast. My son shared with me it was bothering him and he couldn't focus. Attached is the most current response by the regional VP. This place is wasting tax payers dollars. Should be shut down.
