I explained that it was rude of him, but I want the gate done, so he is trying. I'll post the review on the work when it's done- fingers crossed Like other reviewers. I called him for an estimate to repair my broken gate. And he gave me a time and showed up several hours later then specified time. He looked at my gate gave me a price and I told him to go ahead with the repair. He said he wasn't available for two days to which I said that's fine. Called him the morning of the repair to confirm that he was coming, since I had taken off from work. I called him at 830, for a scheduled 9am appt. he said" I don't like to be called this early and u don't like to be rushed. If you are in such a rush, you an call someone else". I replied I just wanted to confirm you were coming, to which he said he's not, and rudely hung up. It's a shame, that he lost out on my business since we were planning on changing both our gate and garage door to a connected model in a few months. I hope he reads these reviews and understands that web someone is calling him to get their gate repaired it's because it's not working an they may not access to their garage. I think that's kind of a rush, don't you.

Save yourself the headache and choose another fence builder…read more The fence itself is solidly built, but the finishing touches need work. Bobby originally quoted $10k, but it ended up being several thousand dollars more and took several weeks longer than stated. I could live with all of that, but the worst part and reason for the 1-star review is the gate. The gate is poorly constructed and comes off the track anytime there is a little wind. Bobby offered a 1-year warranty on his work so I contacted him to fix the issue. He said he would come fix it, but never showed up. I contacted him several more times and each time he promised to come fix the gate, but never shows up. It's been about a month now. Bobby still hasn't fixed the gate and he's no longer responding to my follow up messages to fix his shoddy work on the gate.

I did not respond to this company's request for 1 day and the response the owner , Bobby, wrote back was completely unprofessional. Think twice before hiring someone like this to work on your property. I have included a screenshot of his response so everyone can see. He should think twice working in a service field on how he responds to potential customers. However, I again will point out that I never requested a quote from his company in the first place.

I was told the price included the "knowledge and skill" elements, but please... $540/hour for simple mechanical adjustments is ridiculous.
