I had great intentions coming to them to rent a house I had found in Diamondhead but we applied and made way more than what was needed in income and she made me do the most just to fill out the application. Very professional team. I leased a property they managed. From the time I moved in until the time I moved out they were great and extremely kind. Lawn care service came with the lease. I had very few maintenance issues but when I called to address anything, they always responded in a timely manner. When I had to relocate (move), they made that transition very easy as well and returned my security deposit in a timely manner. I came here to leave a review and just read over the other reviews and couldn't disagree with them more. It's really a shame that nowadays when people don't get their way they just run to the internet and leave bad reviews that aren't warranted. I can say we have been using Alfonso Property Management for about a year and have already run into some difficult situations that they've helped us out with and they have been nothing but professional. I think they have truly gone above and beyond to help us out with these issues. People need to remember she works for both sides, the owners and the renters. If there is damage, it's her job to note that and hold the renter accountable. I would most definitely recommend using them and cannot say enough good things about Kristen and her team. I would say give them a chance, just take care of the place and you won't be disappointed! read more

Do not rent from them if at all possible!! They will delay getting workers to your house for repairs and when they do send them out they are not qualified anything's...only "handymen" that are there to fix major issues like AC units and electrical switches. I actually had to fix many things myself because their "handymen" didn't know how to replace a light switch and it was taking forever!! Make sure to do a walk-thru with them when moving in and take pictures because they will nickel and dime you over every thing they find when you move out even if you would consider it "normal wear and tear" like your lease says. It already sucks being a renter, but it really sucks when you are a good tenant and try hard and still get screwed. I've never had this issue before renting from other companies. read more

After posting the review below, Kristyn sent me a text message with a screen shot stating she's ready to speak with me when I am ready. She stated she didn't reply to my e-mail, because she had a stomach bug. She told me she wasn't happy about my review, because she felt she bent over backwards during our stay. She said we shouldn't have received as much of our deposit back as we did, because the house wasn't left in the same condition we received it. She said she could reply to my review with the pictures showing the "damage" to the house, but she isn't that type of person. I asked for her to send me the pictures and she said she would. I didn't received them that night so I followed up the next day. She stated she was with a customer and would send them out later. I followed up again by e-mail on the pictures and the $40.00 she took out of our deposit even though the damage to the window screen was already present when we moved in. She never replied. Do not rent from here! You get no privacy at all. They say you get a 24 hour notice before showing up but you definitely don't. More than once, the manager showed up to the house right as we were pulling in from work without notice. It was to the point that we felt as though we were getting stalked. We were threatened by them saying we were getting evicted and that the owner didn't want us there, etc because of our animals. None of it was true. We were in the process of buying a home so we wouldn't have to rent from these awful people anymore, and the "manager" tried talking our underwriter into not approving us. (All because of an animal). Also, agreeing with the other review, the people that come out to fix your issue are not professionals at all. The man coming to fix our plumbing issues did not know how to fix some of the problems. He was also much, much older and hit our vehicle pulling in the drive way. The air conditioning men had to come out more than once because they did not fix the issue the first time even though they said they did. They tried to blame us for the problem because we did not change the air filter...we had not even been in the home for a month so it was not our fault. I could go on forever about the issues we had with these people. It is best to just not rent from them at all!!! read more

Renting through Alfonso was no issues, but during the end of our lease, Alfonso gave the spare house key to a family looking to rent the house. We were not given a notice and the family opened the door and walked in to look while my family was there. I called and spoke to Kristyn who apologized and stated the key should never have been given out and we should have been contacted to request a time for viewing. Kristyn said we can turn the key in a few days early and receive a credit on our rent. I typically get everything in an e-mail, but I didn't think it would be an issue. This is where I was mistaken. A month later I received my security deposit back minus $40.00 for a ripped window screen. I e-mailed Kristyn and pointed out the screen was already ripped and was annotated on the move in documentation. She promptly replied and said she's refund the $40.00. I asked if the rent credit was still going to be given to me and she stated they're not able to refund any of the rents paid. I replied back reminding her of our conversation and she didn't reply. read more

I must completely agree with the other two reviewers and say to NEVER rent from this company! I will say that I have enjoyed renting. I've moved around a bit due to work and have never met such arrogant and lazy people that manage property. I went through 2 leases with them. The first house I never got in because the contractors never got out. They continued to find one water leak after the next and couldn't even give a completion date. The house probably had major problems and shouldn't have even been rented. The second house I rented with them was by far not move in ready. Additionally, had rotten decks that would have been extremely dangerous. This is a family owned business and if you have any complaints that you want to go over the property managers head, it goes to her mother who will side with her daughter and you are screwed! The second property I did move in but couldn't stay because the doors were broken and wouldn't lock. They went into that house without my permission when my belongings were in there and fixed the locks before I could prove my point in person to them. They denied going in. To me, this is the utmost disrespectful thing a property management company or landlord can do to you. You cannot trust these people! My complaints were not taken seriously, and the result was the "mother" owner telling me I should leave and they will term my lease. Well, I took this and ran with it because a year dealing with these ridiculous people who care nothing about their renters would have been a nightmare. I had spoken with many other renters from them and the same story of "never fixing anything" and "difficult to deal with" was consistent. They do manage most of the properties in Diamondhead but there are private owners. I found a great one and an incredibly beautiful home. I know this landlord will take care of my needs and his home.
