A very local coffee shop / cafe that is mad cheap (0.75 euros for a latte?!) and has delicious pastries. It's infiltrated with older folks, so don't come if you're wanting a young hipster crowd. If it weren't for the language barrier, I would have loved this place even more with the nuggets of wisdom I could have gotten from the older folks.
For their pastries (0.90 euros each), I like their Portuguese egg tart (flaky crust and filling was fresh with a good consistency) and ham & cheese danish (my favorite). I would stray away from the chocolate croissant if you're looking for a flaky buttery croissant - they use a different kind of bread, more dense and with a challah-bread consistency.
Lots of seating, friendly service, free wi-fi, and as if those weren't enough, they play music videos from the 90's on their TV when futbol games aren't on. It's a win-win either way. read more
