He couldn't get to me yesterday afternoon but promised to take care of me first thing today. With help from friends managed to move the 900 pound bike about 300 yards for safe indoor storage. Took Uber home. Returned in my car this morning and arrived shortly before Dan did. Unlocked it to push it outside and to my total surprise, when I hit the start switch it fired right up. Dan arrived to find me sitting on a perfectly running motorcycle. He laughed. Said good for you and turned to leave. I offered to pay for his time and trouble but he refused. I hope to never need him but if I ever do that's who I'm calling.
