I was just there today and had a happy hour portion of tater tots and a garden salad and also got a couple slices of cake to go. The happy hour price on the menu for the tater tots is six dollars. They charged me seven dollars. They charged me $.50 for a small side of ranch for my salad. I ordered a slice of carrot cake and a slice of pink champagne. I just got home and they put fun Fetty cake in the box. I trusted the restaurant to give me what I ordered and so I didn't think I had to double check the boxes since they were in a bag that was already tied. I bartend at a local bar in the area and often recommend Bridge city to our customers. Never again. I feel robbed. Never again will I order my kids birthday cakes there either. I know it's just a few dollars but it's principle. Integrity is everything to me. And the biggest issue is honestly not the mistake in the cake, I have never ordered a salad at any restaurant my entire life and been charged for salad dressing. Have you? Kasoy is a SE Asian noodle soup, made differently in other cultures but overall they're essentially the same, if you get that lol but it's a rice noodle soup with bits of beef and ground pork in a flavorful broth. Klan fin is a rice flour and limestone jello like cubes that's served in tamarind juice. The main part of the snack aside from the rice flour and limestone jello is the pepper, almost everyone makes their pepper different but it's mostly soy bean paste, mixed with chili peppers and cilantro. It's a staple for the Iu Mien people! Their turkey tails is sooo good! It's deep fried and served with a pepper sauce similar for the klan fin pepper, just without the soy bean paste. I usually eat it with rice. You really can't go wrong with coming here, in addition to my favorites, they have other bar foods such as papaya salad and pad Thai. We got ours at the now recently defunct Labrynth Forge Brewing but a few months ago. We purchased the Canadian Style Pilsner and were simply blown away on how much we liked it. I loved it and when it was all gone I longed for more. With this pilsner there is a great crisp, clean flavors as well as a naturally sweet flavor. Not sugary when I say sweet. This was such a wonderful pilsner I could easily have had more than one in a single sitting and I will look where else to buy their beer on my next trip to Portland. Hopefully (and probably will be) we will be as highly impressed with the other beers as we have with this pilsner!

The wings tasted great, but only the top ones really had meat on them. The three on the bottom were very small and didn't have a lot of meat. at almost 2 dollars per wing. This was not a great value for me. I also ordered Scooby snacks, which tasted great and a very generous order of fries that I could not finish. My server was Brandi who did a great job. Very efficient very friendly. She made me feel welcome in her bar. I will return because I like how the place feels and the food was great. Next time I will order a big fat burger.
