It also required rolling up part of the neighbors chain link fence to facilitate cutting the trees. The next morning he called with a very reasonable quote. I gave him the go ahead and he said he could do it in 3 days given the amount of work he had. Low and behold, he called the following day to say he had an opening due to a cancellation. I called to let the company know that large pieces and sawdust was left and not cleaned up. The lady (Norma) said it was fine and that I shouldn't worry and the guy will pick up in the morning. The lady was rude and instead of starting off with an apology, started telling me that my lawn was fine and what her worker had done was OK. When I told her that they did not have permission from me, she said he knocked on the door but I was not home. How can they be professional and assume that it would have been OK by me. Then she told me that their trailer was full and as such they could not. There was an empty trailer sitting partially blocking my drive way. The unprofessional attitude is extremely disappointing. For a pretty sizable clean-up project, I'd strongly recommend these folks. They showed up promptly at the appointed time, did a quick walkthrough to make sure we both understood the project, and then jumped in to handle the two enormous piles of cuttings that I'd piled all along the curb in front, and the same in the alley. Forty-five minutes later they moved the truck for the last time, cleared the sidewalk and street, and drove away with hardly a trace of evidence they'd ever been there. Best quote I received, amazingly responsive, and not cheating me on the work done in their time on the clock. Impressive.
