She explained ever part of the process to him so that he understood exactly what was going on and how everything would feel as she performed the work. He was in the chair for almost an hour but was completely at ease and relaxed thanks to her kind and compassionate nature. My son is usually not good with anything that even sounds painful but we had no issues during any of his visits. In fact, even after having a tooth pulled, he still isn't afraid to go back and I think that speaks wonders to Dr.Mann's abilities as a pediatric dentist. My son was very excited to see that they have tv's with tons of kids channels, funny sunglasses, and many cool scents of laughing gas to help make the visit as painless as possible. He didn't even notice when she took his tooth out. Now, only 5 hours later he is totally pain free and as happy as can be. If you are looking for are looking for a great dentist for your kids, I highly recommend Dr. Mann. Some of the dentists here are good, but the billing office is extremely frustrating. I strongly…read morerecommend reviewing every bill carefully and matching it against the actual work performed. Otherwise, you may spend hours trying to sort out billing discrepancies. Dr. Kaplan, the owner, seems highly focused on collecting payment immediately. In my experience, I received calls and text messages demanding payment before I had even heard back from my insurance company. At one point, follow-up care for a poorly fitting crown that their office had installed appeared to be contingent on immediate payment. The practice also has frequent staff and dentist turnover, and some staff members have been unprofessional. I have stayed with this practice for more than 30 years, largely because I liked one particular dentist and had developed a long-standing relationship with the office. During that time, I never failed to pay a bill, yet I was still being pursued for payment over the July 4th holiday weekend. When I finally received the bill and tried to pay it by phone, I discovered that the office had provided a different balance than the one originally communicated. I ended up spending about 40 minutes on the phone with the business owner trying to reconcile the numbers, only to arrive at the same figure we had started with. I wanted to be a dental patient, not a billing expert. While some of the clinical care has been good, the billing practices and collection approach have left me deeply disappointed.

I don't have much experience with the hygienists because I haven't gone with the children to the treatment rooms since we started with this practice during the early days of COVID and they weren't allowing parents to accompany children during that time. We've just continued with that process as my kids are a little older and they're comfortable going on their own. I have seen parents with younger children go with them. The front desk staff is pleasant, experienced and very efficient. They have a great system of reminding you of your upcoming appointment, which I appreciate. Dr Baurmash treated her in two phases and my daughter finally was released from care when she was 14 years old with a big, beautiful smile. At the same time our family relocated from New Jersey to Arizona. I had two other children that needed orthodontic care and I had interviewed a number of Arizona orthodontists and had grave concerns. I knew what to expect and what they were prescribing was not what Dr Baurmash had done for my oldest daughter. One orthodontist even suggested surgery. Dr Baurmash went out of her way to seek out and interview a number of orthodontists in my area of Arizona and she found a practice that was a perfect fit for my two younger children. Fast forward now to 2019 and my oldest daughter who completed all her care with Dr Baurmash in New Jersey,is 25 years old, living and working in San Diego, California. She went to a local dentist, the first on her own and she just called me laughing about how Gugu gaga he was over what he called her perfect orthodontia. He got all geeky and technical in explaining his excitement over the perfection of what had been done to her pallet, her bite and her teeth. He told her that hers was the best orthodontic work he had ever seen. That's Dr Baurmash for you. She went above and beyond to help me when I was no longer a paying customer and now all these years later we come to find out that she was even more exceptional than we already thought she was.

I find the staff and Dr Baurmash perfectly kind, clear and accommodating.
