I went to LA to buy some flowers from a usual flower shop that go too..unfortunately the girl who I usually buy from wasn't there. A gentleman was there but had terrible customer service and he wanted to charge me double what I usually purchase for the same thing! so I left. I ended up at Alexander's Flowers. I was helped by the owner Elizabeth. She did a beautiful flower bouquet and her price was was reasonable. Thank you Elizabeth! I will be back

I went on Saturday to buy flower arrangements for my mother and aunt. (The next day is mother's day) I understand that due to the holiday the prices were marked up, and i was ok with paying $70 for a simple arrangements (no vase). I dove it home and the next day the roses were dead. The lady told me that it's my fault I didn't properly take care of them and I needed to cut them and re arrange them. Isn't the point of buying from a professional that you're buying and arrangements? I told her I wasn't a professional and I wouldn't know how to put the arrangements back together. I wasn't given a refund and lost $70 and my mom got nothing from me for mother's day. :( I've been to the location many times before and even bought funeral arrangements but never again. I didn't want a full refund but at least some of my money back.

Stitch doll with blue roses

I went to 8 other flower shops and this was the only flower shop that had blue roses in stock! They decorated the flowers beautifully! I needed a stitch doll a luckily they had one in stock! It all worked out perfectly! Definitely coming back for future flower arrangements! Shout out to the lady who decorated these flowers. When she sees this, she'll know.

Had a great experience when I came to order my bouquets. Hector was very helpful and has great customer skills. 3 stars: I was supposed to pick up my order at 10am, I even called to let them know I was heading out since I live 40min away. Got there at 10am and they apologized saying my order wasn't ready to please wait 15-20min because they had to go get some flowers they were missing for my arrangements, Well that was nice. I waited a whole 45min and still were not done with the work I saw one of the people going to the flower shop next door and picked a bouquet of flowers and used it to finish my arrangements.

Despite the mixed reviews I decided to give this place a shot based on a friend's recommendation and I am so happy that I did! I was extremely pleased with the funeral floral arrangements I received. They delivered them on time, prices were great and they were beautiful. Definitely recommend!

The biggest most beautiful flower arrangement was sent to my Tia on her birthday by her friends, the guy that delivered the flowers was very nice and funny. You guys did an amazing job will be ordering flowers from your place.

Alexander Flowers is by far the best florist I've found. They did all the flowers for our fathers funeral. Then we've been back there several times for flowers. And we recommended this florist to several friends that have used them for their weddings, funerals, or parties. They have never let us down even when we called to add on to the order last minute. Great flowers, fair prices, and nice customer service. Thank you

This is BY FAR THE WORST flower shop I've EVER bought from. I've been a loyal customer for YEARS. I buy flowers and arrangements here for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, my fiancée birthday and our anniversary and again in December for the Virgen on the 12th. That is 5 times/ year. For my anniversary I usually have the flowers delivered to her job. Well twice they had said a certain time and were over two hours late. I called and they said they were running late. NO APOLOGIES OR ANYTHING OF THAT SORT. One of the those days. They delivered the flowers once my fiancée was already out from her job. I figured I've been going there for the last 7 years. So I gave them another opportunity after my two bad experiences. So this last time I went in and purchase an arrangement and asked if they can deliver. the lady there said yes. I asked her for a specific time and she told me they were unable to do then and gave me the time they had available I said fine I would take that time. But the arrangement that was out there had flowers that were already dying. I asked the woman several times if she can make sure the flowers I'm buying don't look like this and that they are fresh flowers. She assured me several times that she was going to make the arrangement fresh and they would not look like that. At the time they had given me they still had an arrived with my delivery. It was about an hour and a half after the time they had given me and still no flowers. I called the number and the owner Victor answered the phone and he said he would call his staff to see where the flowers are at. He then called me back and said they would be there in about 30 minutes I expressed my frustration to him because they had promised a certain time and they did not deliver at that time. I let him know that that was a big a irresponsibility on their behalf. He then got upset cursed me out and said he wasn't going to deliver anything after and told me if I wanted my money back I can go to the store and pick it up otherwise I was screwed out of my money. I did not want to start any problems since I obviously put down my home address on the order forms and he has my credit card information and everything so I just told him to go ahead and deliver please and forget I even called him. They went ahead and delivered the flowers. Once I saw the flowers I was even more angry. Most of the flowers looked dead. And TWO DAYS LATER the flowers were completely DEAD. I spent $80 on flowers that were dying when delivered and completely TRASH on the second day. I've read other reviews here and everyone seems to complain about this man Victor. PLEASE PEOPLE DONT BUY HERE!!!!!!!! HE STEALS YOUR MONEY AND GIVES YOU TRASH. HES RUDE, ARROGANT AND EXTREMELY IRRESPONSIBLE. THIS PLACE HAS ZEROOO STARS FROM ME. Here are pictures of my flowers.

We order some flowers for a funeral and the place said they opened at 7:00. However when I got there the guy was barely opening at 7:15, when I asked him he had an attitude. He stated that if he wanted too, he wouldn't give me the flowers! Really?? What type of business are they conducting? This is the last time I will use them! Very un

I cannot put into words the heartfelt gratitude I have for this flower shop and the owner. I needed his services at the very last second and he only had less than 1 days notice. The photos do not do these centerpieces justice. He litteraly made exactly what I asked, for with the precise colors and flowers. He even went on a mission to find white baby roses for 1 of the 5 arrangements that he created for my mother in law's funeral. He went above and beyond exceeding my expectations and his prices were fair. Thank you so much again.

Yani R.

Above and beyond my expectations!! Starting at the initial talk they were conscious regarding budget. They listened to our needs and help us with different ideas. The choices that we selected were exactly as how they promised. Best florist ever!!!

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

Went here on Friday and I do not think this place is worth it whatsoever. I was highly disappointed…read moreafter wanting to go here for over a decade. First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that. When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

[Parking]: Traffic was horrendous on Valentine's Day, but I was able to find some free street parking near Stanford Ave & E 8th St (near Ninth Street School). [Experience]: Most vendors accept cash or Zelle only. Many of the shops have good flower arrangement selections. Using what they have on display that gives an idea and adding things to it. It was easy and ordering was fast. Most places do delivery for a fee. A lot of the arrangements are pretty similar but customizing it to your liking is available. Prices can varies depending on the sizes and flowered used. I placed an order and gave them the city of where it needed to get to. The lady taking my order knew exactly where it was going before we even said it. So they must have done a lot of deliver there. The floral stands do come with arrangements. They have a sash that comes free or you can get more of a professional style for an additional fee. I highly recommend ordering arrangements here. Pricewise for my order was great. For an extra large arrangement with added additional flowers including delivery and sash was 250.00. I've looked at websites and simple smaller arrangements were that price or more. It's a deal at the flower district. Highly recommend ordering arrangements.
