I have never written a negative review for any business of any kind but the way I…read morewas taken advantage of by Jhon and Scott at Tailored Home is so outrageous, I need to warn people about how they operate. I am a designer and stumbled into their store, really impressed and excited to have a working relationship with them. I ordered a custom side table, custom barstools and curtains. As a designer, I absolutely could have taken their suggested fabrics and design and done the barstools and curtains myself for a lot less money. Their mark up even to with "a discount" was 40% on the fabrics. That was easy enough for me to check since I have design accounts. But doing that would be unethical since I truly appreciated the suggestions from Jhon. February 2023: I give 100% payment for the curtains and am promised these will be done by April 23 when I have a large event and it would be nice to have the curtains. April 2023: Jhon tells me that one of the two fabrics in the curtains in backordered until June, but he has the other fabric. I tell him I will buy the fabric from him or pay a restock fee because I can't wait until June and already have another fabric, I can get ASAP and have my curtain installer finish the job in time. Jhon and Scott's response was to give me a store credit for both fabrics (even though one fabric was not even paid for yet since it is on backorder), credit for the labor (even though the fabrics were not made) and no credit for the installation (even though I paid for that in full and there was no installation). I paid $5,571.18 for the curtains that were never made. They said the best they could do was give me a store credit for $4,405.55. How does someone refuse to refund you for product and services not yet bought or performed? So beware that even if they are unable to fulfill an order but you have trusted them by giving payment in full, they will not refund you at all. They will keep 100% of your money and force you to use that money in their store. I spent more than $10,000 in their store on products I could have don't myself for a lot less money, but I did the right thing by not "stealing" their ideas and doing it myself. I hoped for a long relationship and respected them for their design style. They clearly have no respect for their customers.

I have purchased my itineraire sofa sectional about 3 years ago unfortunately 1,5 yrs of using it i have noticed one side of the backrest was far stretched / skewed than other side. I have contacted the so called 5 star customer rep to be told I need to pay $350 to start the investigation process first during their warranty period! I have never heard of being asked to be charged up front by a high end luxury, reputable and internationally recognized brand so I refused. I have send endless emails with no avail and gave up. Year later that backrest arm was moving back further to such extend it was very noticeable and no longer comfortable. Again, i tried to contact greenwich branch to be told they can't do anything without sending technical service which will be $350. I had no other choice but trust the process so I agreed. Cutting story short, Ive wasted time and money because at every corner I have heard same excuse. First, it was insinuated that I must have broke the wood piece within the backrest part, then my warranty period of 2 yrs have run out and the last one was the best when the service man realized screws on the mechanical part were loosened up so he tightened them but he did make a comment saying he never seen them loosed like that before, meantime, roche bobois rep got back to me saying "screws on the backrest got loose overtime with usage so its wear and tear! Its actually laughable how easy it is for them to shift from blaming the customer for breaking the sofa to washing their hands from other potential aspect of faulty installation or faulty product. On top of that I got charged $350 + TAX! Unreal and disgraceful! Now, I have a so called high end product which is made of crap materials, obvious manufacture design flaw and zero credibility whatsoever and even after tightening screws my backrest is still in the same skewed shape as before. I would run from this place as far as i could! I hear I'm not alone. I wish I actually read reviews before trusting this company! I am, however, considering taking legal action against this company!

Fantastic experience at Roche Bobois in Greenwich! I worked…read morewith Emma at Roche Bobois and she is absolutely amazing! She helped me pick out awesome, customized, beautiful pieces and put together a computer generated design for the furniture layout in my new apartment (which included her coming onsite to measure). That design let me see how everything would lay out in the room before it came and know that it would fit perfectly. This was super important as I have limited space. Also a big shout out to Lori, Aramani and Isabella for their great input too! The delivery and service were way above and beyond my expectations. The delivery team treated my home with utmost care and made sure the furniture and its placement was to my liking before leaving. I have since been back twice for additional pieces (coffee table and bar stools) which are on the way. For an epic furniture experience, definitely see Emma at the Greenwich store!
